What do you love most about Your City?
There is always something new to do and/or explore.
Favorite breakfast meal & restaurant?
Classic american breakfast - bacon, soft scrambled eggs, pancakes/french toast and a fruit smoothie. I love Clinton Street Bakery’s blueberry pancakes and Lula Cafe in Chicago has a spectacular breakfast.
What are you doing at:
6:00 AM – Waking up, making tea, stretching, writing and meditating.
10:00 AM - Gathering food stuffs from the farmers market/grocery to prepare lunch for 12-15 people.
12:00 PM - Favorite Power Lunch spot/meal?
I prepare lunch everyday for myself and my colleagues at a digital design agency. Lunch varies daily but I cook seasonally so expect lots of fresh vegetables, a grain, protein and always a sweet treat. Some of my favorite lunch spots in the city are Gotan and Gaia Italian Cafe.
7:00 PM - Making dinner and winding down with my boyfriend and our cat, Chicken, followed by a salt bath/shower.
11:00 PM - Ideally, I have been asleep for at least an hour! I go to bed around 9:30-10pm.
What drink do you need to get through the day and at the end (and how many)?
I drink a LOT of water throughout the day and no more than one cup of coffee. I love to make different homemade teas & bone broth. In the warmer months I am a fiend for kombucha.
