What do you love most about Your City?
I love how iconic and timeless San Francisco is – its people, stunning views and the camaraderie among those of us ‘foodies’ is unlike any place in the world. (#WineDownWednesdays at Palomino are a must!)
I also have a soft spot for this place because it’s where I launched my career and ‘grew up’ in my 20s.
Favorite breakfast meal & restaurant?
I am not much of a breakfast person, but I enjoy having a piece of fruit or breakfast bar daily between the hours of 9:00a.m. – 10:30a.m. I prefer brunch, especially at The Cliff’s when visiting the San Luis Obispo region!
What are you doing at:
6:00 AM – Sitting on calls, scanning social media, sleeping and/or travelling.
10:00 AM – Meetings, meetings and more meetings. And of course, scanning social media!
12:00 PM - Favorite Power Lunch spot/meal?
Per Diem in San Francisco! Depending on my mood, I’ll indulge in a chicken kale salad with a side of fries or a tri-tip sandwich with a side of fries. Yes, there is ALWAYS a side of fries involved here!
7:00 PM - Working at the office or from home, running a board meeting (I currently serve on seven and chair two!) or meeting up with friends at industry events/for dinner.
11:00 PM – Catching up on board emails or working out. Who needs sleep anyway?!
What drink do you need to get through the day and at the end (and how many)?
I begin my morning with a glass of non-fat milk, drink water all day and enjoy a glass of cabernet or champagne on some nights.
Most used App/Favorite Instagram Account?
It’s a close tie between Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn. Do I have to choose one favorite insta?! My top three choices are Refinery Rooftop, Pottery Barn and Martha Stewart.
What should everyone try at least once?
Watch the sunset from Mount Tibidabo in Barcelona, Spain. While you’re up there, visit the Amusement Park – you’ll feel reminiscent of childhood. And regardless of your religion, you must go inside Templo Expiatorio del Sagrado Corazón de Jesús – a Roman Catholic Church and minor basilica. Try to see it before the park closes for the evening – you may end up having it all to yourself like I did! It was a life-changing experience.
Where do you enjoy getting lost?
My happy place, San Luis Obispo, which is located on California’s Central Coast and home to my alma mater, Cal Poly! You can find me chairing board meetings, strolling through the vineyards and/or reading on the beach, taking in all of the beauty life has to offer.
