My Goal of the Day: To learn something new about the world.

My Thought of the Day: Donuts for breakfast ruins your appetite for lunch.

My Action of the Day: Driving through Los Angeles traffic!

What do you love most about Your City?

I love how vibrant and different every pocket in Los Angeles is. Each area is good for a particular type of cuisine and culture. If you want the beach, you go to the West side, if you want good Mexican or Chinese food, you go East.

Favorite breakfast meal & restaurant?

Favorite breakfast is me eating 2 boiled eggs drowning in Siracha sauce at home. Sometimes I’ll have some berries after. Favorite restaurant is Din Tai Fung. I’ve never had a bad meal there and that xiao long bao is to die for.

What are you doing at:

6:00 AM – I wake up at 5am to write. So I’d be writing on my laptop!

10:00 AM – On my way to a meeting or still writing.

12:00 PM - Favorite Lunch spot/meal?

Favorite lunch spot is probably ramen somewhere. Maybe Tatsu or Men Oh downtown. Favorite meal…you guessed it! Ramen!

7:00 PM -  Eating dinner in front of the TV, watching something fun like American Vandal or The Good Place! Then maybe some reading before bed.

11:00 PM – Fast asleep.

What drink do you need to get through the day and at the end (and how many)?

I don’t drink coffee because it makes me shake. But strangely, I love and am unaffected by tea! I always start my day with a cup of English breakfast tea with a HUGE dollop of milk. Then I’ll have green tea for the rest of the day. I like that authentic Chinese green tea that you get on the East side! By the end of the day, I’ll have had at least 3-4 cups of tea.

Most used App/Favorite Instagram Account?

Gosh…most used app is probably my email app. I refresh my email like someone on crack. My favorite Instagram account is probably @winstonsmushface. He is a cat whose face is smooshed and his owners put him in hilarious situations.

What should everyone try at least once?

Travelling by yourself somewhere. You really learn a lot about who you are and what you’re capable of. Also everyone should go to Japan once in their life. It’s so fun and wacky! (unless you’re from Japan, in which case, you can just stay and enjoy your country).

Where do you enjoy getting lost?

I like getting lost inside my own head. I know that’s probably a weird answer. But it’s a place I go to often when I’m writing and it allows me to go anywhere I like and be anyone I want to be.

Physically, I like getting lost in small streets and alleyways in quaint areas. And I like people watching.
