What do you love most about Your City?

I love the spirit of volunteerism that I witness around the St. Louis. The residents are always willing to step in and donate their time (and money) to civic events, such as Fair Saint Louis.

Favorite breakfast meal & restaurant?

I love breakfast at IKEA exactly at 9:30 AM (when it opens) – The $1 small breakfast, a side of Swedish meatballs, a cinnamon roll, and a cup of coffee – for exactly $4.37. I’m usually the first in line, so it only takes me 5 minutes to receive my meal, and I always have exact change.

What are you doing at:

6:00 AM – I just finished walking the dogs after waking up at 5:00 AM. I usually start my Pomodoro 25-minute timer then start journaling (I practice the Morning Pages routine)

10:00 AM – I take a break by walking around our yard. We live on two acres. This is to get my daily steps in. It also helps to exercise the dogs.

12:00 PM - Favorite Power Lunch spot/meal?

Guerilla Street Food of the Delmar Loop. Filipino food is fantastic!

7:00 PM - Sitting down to dinner. In the Summer, we usually fire up the grill and cook outside to keep the heat out of the house. In the Winter, I use the Instant Pot in the colder months.

11:00 PM – I try to be in bed by 10:30 PM, but if I’m awake this late, I’m usually reading a book.

What drink do you need to get through the day and at the end (and how many)?

I love a Rye Manhattan on the rocks with a Luxardo cherry. Two is my maximum, and only when I’m not driving.

Most used App/Favorite Instagram Account?

My most used app is Allo for group text. I have a large group of friends that have been keeping our group chat daily for over 2 years.

What should everyone try at least once?

Starting a business! It’s a great way to learn about your strengths, grit and perseverance.

Where do you enjoy getting lost?

I enjoy getting lost in the aisles of Costco. They are famous for their “Treasure Hunt” so I like to find the products that are unadvertised.
