Nisreen Azar: Co-Founder, True Wild Botanics

My NativeAdVert:

Nisreen Azar is the Co-Founder of True Wild Botanics, a natural skin and body care line that harnesses the power of plants and tells a story about native landscapes. Nisreen created True Wild Botanics with her husband Scott Ward. Their shared philosophy of environmental stewardship and health consciousness led Scott and Nisreen to develop products that support the wellbeing of humans and of the earth. The formulas they originally cultivated in their small kitchen have evolved into the True Wild product range that continues to bloom.

Diverse landscapes spanning the Middle East to the Pacific Northwest shaped Nisreen's passion for adventure, wellness and the pursuit of beauty. Her formal training in Studio Art and Landscape Architecture led her to work in the fields of landscape design and ecological restoration. This propelled her exploration into herbalism, ethnobotany, and the transformative power of nature on the body and spirit. She is now dedicated to create products that draw nature, health and beauty closer to everyday life. Nisreen holds a BA in Studio Art from Scripps College and a MLA in Landscape Architecture from Cal Poly Pomona. She is also an ISA Certified Arborist and enjoys all facets of working with trees and plants.
