My Goal of the Day: Whew! To get through the day.

My Thought of the Day: You got this!

My Action of the Day: Be Different. Our company name OLIKA means “differently” in Swedish. We take this to heart in how we build a brand and create consumer products.

My Deed of the Day: Find Your People. Entrepreneurship can be a lonely road. I’ve been fortunate enough to meet other amazing female founders in the consumer products space, who are incredible sounding boards and collaborative thought leaders. Regardless of industry, we are all challenged with the same issues: How to find the best accountant? How to best utilize social media marketing? How can I find a talented salesperson? Talking to others who can relate and share tips on building a business is invaluable.

My Tip of the Day:  Live for the moment, when possible, and remember to reflect on the journey.

My Pic of the Day:

A Day in My Life: What do you love most about Your City?

New York City is full of energy and seems to be alive at all hours of the day. I love that its a melting pot of ideas and cultures.  We draw a lot of inspiration from the energy of the concrete jungle. We are also fortunate enough to be connected with a number of an amazing community of entrepreneurs in the city.

Favorite breakfast meal & restaurant?

If I’m going out, Cookshop has a fantastic breakfast. But I usually dive into a protein smoothie at home. My Nutribullet was one of my best kitchen purchases.

What are you doing at:

6:00 AM – I am not usually a morning person so you can find me hitting the snooze button (one too many times) while checking email and social media in bed.

10:00 AM -  Catching up on emails and sending out influencer and press samples. Our product line is highly instagrammable and I’m often found handwriting notes and sending out care packages daily.

12:00 PM - Favorite Lunch spot/meal?

I usually work from home and grab a quick lunch between calls and email. When venturing out, Yakatori Totto is my favorite spot with amazing lunch specials. It’s my go-to for meeting up with friends and colleagues.

7:00 PM - Returning home from the gym. I use my time on the treadmill to brainstorm, reset and unwind. Some of my better ideas come from time spent physically recharging. Afterward, I quickly shower and head out to dinner with a couple friends or pop back over to my apartment to cook dinner at home.

11:00 PM - Winding down with friends and/or catching up on Netflix (currently watching House of Cards). In between watching tense political maneuvering, you can find me checking in on a flurry of social media activity.

What drink do you need to get through the day and at the end (and how many)?

Green tea, water and cherry coke zero. I usually have one of each on my desk at any given time. It’s important to stay hydrated!

Most used App/Favorite Instagram Account?

Instagram is my most used app and I absolutely love the Denny’s Diner account. The content is incredibly designed and extremely witty. Let’s collaborate!

What should everyone try at least once?

Bungee jumping - it’s an unreal experience and worth trying at least once.

Where do you enjoy getting lost?

Hong Kong or Lisbon.
