My Goal of the Day: Feeling accomplished

My Thought of the Day: When Henry Winkler won his Emmy, he said something that stuck with me: « If you stay at the table long enough, the chips come to you » and that’s how I see life, if I start something, I keep trying until it finally pays off.

My Action of the Day: I do everything with a smile

My Deed of the Day: Giving clothes, recycling, composting. I do my best to be a good person everyday, for other, the planet and myself.

My Tip of the Day: Spend less time on the phone, I’m so tired of seeing everyone looking at their phone everywhere especially walking down the street.

My Pic of the Day: (any additional pic that expresses something special)

I miss Paris dearly and this is the background on my laptop which I get to look at everyday. It’s my piece of home away from home…

A Day in My Life:

What do you love most about Your City? I love the energy in New York, the melting pot of cultures. I’m an immigrant myself so it’s great to be surrounded with people from other cultures and we’re all far from our homes but find ourselves to be this one big family of New Yorkers. I can’t imagine living in any other city.

Favorite breakfast meal & restaurant?

Anything with poached eggs and La Pecora Bianca is my go to breakfast spot

What are you doing at:

6:00 AM –  Sleeping but waking up soon and trying to squeeze a workout before work

10:00 AM - Working and drinking my 3rd espresso of the day by then

12:00 PM - Favorite Lunch spot/meal?

I unfortunately often eat at work but Taste of Persia is a small Persian place in Chelsea and it’s without question my favorite lunch spot.

7:00 PM -  Still working but trying to wrap up so I can either go home or

11:00 PM - Reading in bed if I’m not already asleep

What drink do you need to get through the day and at the end (and how many)? COFFEE - usually 5-6 espressos

Most used App/Favorite Instagram Account?

NYT crosswords, Chess with Friends, Twitter then Instagram. My favorite Instagram account is probably the Bon Appetit one or anything food related ones.

What should everyone try at least once?

Whelks. For those who don’t know, they’re like sea snails. They’re so underrated and they’re one of my favorite things.

Where do you enjoy getting lost?

Any city in the world. And bookstores.
