My Action of the Day: Two actions, really. First meditate so I can clear my head and get focused and second take my vitamins so I don’t get the cold my son has.
What do you love most about Your City? What’s not to love about Seattle? I’m from Alaska originally so I don’t mind the rain or damp weather in the fall or winter because, well, it isn’t pitch dark. The fall foliage is incredible and I’m fortunate to see the Olympic mountains with their snow caps (thankfully) and able to hop on a passenger ferry to scoot across to the city and catch Mount Rainer in the distance as we go across the Puget Sound. The people are progressive and love the outdoors and everyone is just nice. It’s a great place to raise my son.
What should everyone try at least once? Venice. Our daughter studied abroad in high school and we took a family weekend in Venice. We all loved getting lost on the cobble stone streets. Everywhere you turn there is something new and exciting to experience and learn about.
