As a native of Southern New Jersey, I grew up dancing for a semi-professional youth ballet company and began teaching dance when I was 14. After high school, I matriculated into The University of the Arts, where I graduated with honors and earned a BFA in Dance in 2007. Upon graduation, I performed with several professional contemporary ballet companies, including BalletX in Philadelphia, and toured domestically and internationally until I completely transitioned into the fitness industry as a personal trainer in 2009. During my tenure at Equinox, I earned the role of Fitness Manager where I trained new hires, provided in-house educational opportunities for the staff, as well as successfully drove new business and led teams at two prominent NYC locations. I was a nominee for Educational Excellence as a Fitness Manager in 2012 at the Global Forum at Equinox in Los Angeles. With a passion to work with women one-on-one and in a smaller boutique setting, I made the transition to modelFIT upon their opening in 2014. I also taught group fitness classes and works with Celebrity and High Profile clientele. Priding myself on continuing education, she completed the GIFT Mentorship Program through The Gray Institute in 2015.
I coach and create custom tailored programs for my clients based on their movement + lifestyle while helping integrate healthy habits including listening to what their bodies, minds and spirits require on a daily basis, self-care routines to stay empowered from within, energy management, injury management + prevention. I've helped a Victoria's Secret Angel cruise down the runway in svelte shape as well as celebrities and industry leaders and take private training clients to the edge with targeted sculpting moves — always in 3D and always having fun! I am currently coaching private clients out of studio26 in NYC and working on building my own fitness and wellness brand. My mission includes giving back to young women through health/fitness and spreading positivity to the world through my projects. @rosaliachann

What do you love most about Your City?
I love that it never gets boring and I always love walking around my neighborhood (Soho) for daily inspo.
Favorite breakfast meal & restaurant?
Breakfast is my favorite meal and I love the at Butcher’s Daughter!
What are you doing at:
6:00 AM – Still sleeping. I wake up around 6:30/7am and do my morning routine before any appointments. The time that I take to self-care, get grounded and prep for my day is very important and paramount to the outcome of my day.
My routine includes Water/hydration, Daily Gratitude List, a meditation that varies in length and stretching + activating my body. Not looking at my phone is a work in progress.
10:00 AM - I’m usually with clients most days. On office days, you will find me working on business development, networking and creative writing
12:00 PM - Favorite Lunch spot/meal?
I love to cook my own food, so you’ll most likely find me taking a break from my phone and enjoying my meal.
I also love Sweet Green, Souen + The Butcher’s Daughter!
7:00 PM - I’m typically at networking events. If not, spending time with good friends at a healthy hangout or unwinding by myself at home.
11:00 PM - Is way past my bedtime when I have clients and appointments the next day. If the evening calls for a fun night out, than I’ll go!
What drink do you need to get through the day and at the end (and how many)?
Lots of water and tea. I love coffee and only stick to one a day in the morning: 75% decaf and 25% caffeine with Vital Proteins and Oat Milk.
