Chef Dave Seavey is a rare commodity. Born and raised in Jacksonville Beach, Chef Dave is loved by everyone and has become an integral part of this community. Starting from humble beginnings, his drive, ambition, and determination have made him one of the premier chefs in Northeast Florida. Chef Dave’s passion and desire catapulted him to the ranks of Executive Chef of the Sawgrass Marriott Cabana Beach Club. Due to his culinary talents, he was personally recruited to open North Beach Bistro in June 2008.
One of his proudest achievements has been the honor of representing the Jacksonville Jaguars as Executive Chef for the National Taste of the NFL. Chef Dave has been involved with the Taste of the NFL on the local and national level for 5 years and believes the event has been very beneficial for raising money for our local citizens who depend on the food banks services. Chef Dave has conquered this challenge with the same veracity and determination he puts into all his ventures. Through his dedication and passion for his craft he has created a great name for himself and for North Beach Bistro.
