Neil Green: CEO, SenateSHJ

SenateSHJ's Chief Executive, Neil Green specialises in reputation management, corporate communications, and crisis and issues management. He has deep experience in issues relating to the energy, transport, finance and government sectors. SenateSHJ is one of the largest independent consultancies in Australia and New Zealand. Neil is a well-known and respected business figure in Australasia, with a 27-year career that has seen him operate in New Zealand, Australia and New York. He is on the global Board of PROI Worldwide (the world's largest global international partnership of independent public relations firms) and is a Vice-Chairman of its Asia-Pacific Crisis Group. Outside of work, Neil is trying to justify owning golf clubs and has visions of doing the Coast-to-Coast again. Of the two, he is more hopeful about his golfing!

What do you love most about Your City? 

Wellington, New Zealand – The harbor and waterfront, and being able to ride everywhere

Breakfast - Fresh peaches and pears with yoghurt

Restaurant – The Larder in Miramar (Around the corner from Weta Workshop)

What are you doing at:

6:00 AM – Getting up, scanning news sites, reading overnight emails

10:00 AM – Doing the daily newspaper quiz with the team

12:00 PM - Favorite Power Lunch spot/meal?  Whitebait on bread from a waterfront food truck.  Brilliant!

7:00 PM – Having dinner with the family (or a client)

11:00 PM - Sleeping

What drink do you need to get through the day and at the end (and how many)?

Berry smoothie to stat the day) and a glass of chilled pinot gris in the evening
