My name is Jamie Sims Coakley and I am an entrepreneur, artist, musician, writer, mother, and story teller. I have a passion for telling stories about people and I love using just about every medium imaginable to do so. I am currently producing and directing my first documentary, The Cadillac Tramps - Life On The Edge.
What do you do best?
I have a unique gift at staying positive and believing in the impossible. That frees me up to take risks and really go for things.
What makes you the best?
I believe in the good in man and have a reverence for the beauty all around us. I also know what we see is the minimum of what is there, not the maximum so that helps me overcome a lot of obstacles others might stumble on. The mind is a powerful thing. Used for good and evil!
The documentary I am currently making is the biggest success I have had, even though it hasn’t even been finished! The story is really resonating with people and we are attracting a lot of attention, support and excitement.
What are your aspirations?
Personal: To live each day with kindness, joy and gratitude. To be kind and to be accountable when I misstep. To be bold and fearless and really live.
Business: To continue to tell the stories that move me, in whatever medium lights my fire, and share those stories to inspire, enlighten and comfort others.
Most challenging moment?
Those times when self doubt creeps in and tells me to give up, or that I am not “good enough”. Squashing my own inner demons always seems to be the biggest challenge to success that I encounter.
Don’t say “No” for other people.
