I graduated with a BGS in Economics and a minor in Psychology from the University of Kansas. I’ve built roads, produced 3D animation for broadcast, remodeled homes and coached tennis players to regional and national rankings. In 2011 I opened LED Source of Lawrence, Kansas providing state-of-the-art LED lighting technology to local business owners.
I’m also a graduate of the 2013 class of Leadership Lawrence and serve on the City of Lawrence Sustainability Advisory Board.
What’s Your NativeAdVantage:
What do you do best?
Quite simply, I learn and create. I learn about my customers needs and wants and, if possible, create solutions that address those needs and wants. By providing lighting solutions that can last for 100,000 hours and provide electricity bill saving of up to 85% over fluorescent and incandescent counterparts, we care providing customers the chance to not only save money, but reduce their carbon footprint as well.
What makes you the best?
I care about my customers and their success and I won’t recommend a solution that isn’t right for them just to get the sale.
What are your aspirations?
To help my community understand that being green is an investment rather than an expense. Sustainable practices positively impact our bank accounts, our community and our planet. The U.S. Department of Energy projects that 74% of all lighting sold by the year 2030 will be LED lighting. I want to continue to be a part of a growing industry while being able to provide my community with a positive service and experience.
Never forget the possibility that you might be wrong.
