Jessica Martino is the founder & CEO of Clique Chic (CliqueChic.com), a members-only shopping and personal styling destination for women’s designer fashion. Clique Chic aims to deliver the personalization and amenities of a traditional brick-and-mortar luxury environment to digital platforms (desktop, laptop and mobile) by marrying the human touch with technology, to build the ultimate experience in convenience and personal attention for individuals shopping for women’s designer fashion.

Jessica honed her incredible passion for luxury and fashion over a career that spans e-commerce (eBay), digital marketing and fashion (launched the NOWNESS brand for LVMH). Most recently, she held the position of Executive Director of Brand Marketing for Vogue Magazine, where she reported to Editor-in-Chief Anna Wintour. She holds an MBA from Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University and a Bachelor of Arts in International Relations from McGill University.

Jessica resides in Manhattan with her husband and eight month old son, Christopher. She has traveled the world and speaks in English, French and Italian fluently.

What do you do best?

I make things happen by never accepting “No” for an answer. Doing so encourages me and the individuals that work with me to find, or create, solutions where at first glance it seems impossible to do so.

What makes you the best?

Being laser focused on the end goal, while being flexible to appreciate that adapting and pivoting is a key part of success.

What are your aspirations?

To develop Clique Chic into a successful global brand that becomes the standard that luxury customers expect when they shop for luxury fashion online.

To raise my son to be the best he can be at whatever he wants to be, to teach him to respect women as his equal (which does not mean he should not be chivalrous), and to always respect the elderly, for the wisdom they carry does not disappear with age.

To truly make a difference for woman entrepreneurs - moving away from simply discussing the problems women face to taking action that will actually help women be more likely to succeed.

Favorite:

Waking up Saturday morning and enjoying a cup of my husband’s home brewed coffee and uninterrupted playtime with my son.

Motto:

Better to regret something you did, than something you didn’t do. It was one of the reasons that I was motivated to leave a successful career in the corporate world to become an entrepreneur.
