Kyle Pritchett: Head Concierge at The Hotel Hershey

Kyle Pritchett is the head concierge at The Hotel Hershey. Pritchett is among more than 600 concierges in the United States and approximately 3,750 members worldwide who currently wear the keys. He is among eight certified concierges in Pennsylvania but the only one outside the greater Philadelphia region. He is the first concierge in the 77-year history of The Hotel Hershey to earn this distinction. From making transportation arrangements to coordinating a marriage proposal, Pritchett’s primary responsibility is ensuring that every guest has the best possible experience at the Hotel.

Pritchett has worked at The Hotel Hershey since 2004. In 2003 he retired as a shift manager for The

Hershey Company at the Reese’s plant. He is an alumnus of Middletown High School and Thaddeus Stevens College of Technology, and is a proud veteran of the United States Marine Corps.

What do you do best?

I make things happen. I meet or exceed guest’s expectations, and want them to be smiling when they leave my office.

What makes you the best?

My passion. Having vast contacts as a Les Clefs d’Or Concierge is a large part of my success. I continue to strive for excellence.

How will you become the best?

I’m always in close contact with my fellow Les Clefs d’Or members, making new contacts, making a difference, and enjoying what I do.

What are your aspirations?

On a personal level, I strive for a balanced life – my faith, family, health, work, and relaxation.

Professionally, I want my team to be the best they can be, and to lead by example. I also feel it is important to support local businesses in my community.”
