What’s Your NativeAdVantage:

What do you do best?

Mindfulness and meditation is enjoying a bit of a boom at the moment but what makes our work special is our people-centred design approach. While everyone else tends to start with a tradition or how things have been done before, we instead start with what people’s lives are really like and make mindfulness come to them rather than them having to go to it.

What are your aspirations?

Personal: To love better.

Business: As a company we want to continue to make products that people love and actually improve their lives in a very real way. Mindfulness has a long history of innovation and evolution and we plan to be right on the forefront of that as it continues to change in response to our digital culture.

Motto: What do you want to live by?

Make sure you put everything you have into the work that you do, and then get out of the way.

People: Who do you want to meet?

I’ve met most of my heroes in the world of mindfulness and meditation. The people that I’m most inspired by at the moment are those who combine both excellence and humility, and for me they tend to be in the domain of sports or the arts. For me those people include the Sri Lankan cricketer Mahela Jayawardena, the writers Brandon Sanderson and Toni Morrison and as someone who lives in Scotland, of course Andy Murray.

Places: Where do you want to go?

I’ve considered living outside of the UK and the cities that call me most are Rotterdam, San Francisco or Colombo.

Products: What do you want to have?

My PS4 and Audible subscription tends to keep me very happy but what I’d really like are some really sharp kitchen knives and the now-discontinued Tesla Roadster. However there aren’t any charging points near me so that might now work!

Passions: What hobbies/interests do you want to learn/excel at?

If I could excel at anything I’d love that to be as a husband, son and brother.
