Avi Bensimhon: Licensed Real Estate Salesperson, Town Residential

My NativeAdVantage:

Growing up among a family steeped in the real estate industry, my exposure to the business started early on. After a successful stint in property management, I became a Representative himself, which was the next logical step given my considerable experience working closely with landlords, tenants and properties. Known for my astute approach, I take the time to understand the specific needs of my clients and offers keen insight on a range of matters, from the fluctuation in prices of a particular market over time to any hidden issues that a particular building may harbor. An ambitious problem solver, I am adept at navigating the market with my clients' interests always at the forefront, as I help them make the very best decisions. I grew up in Brooklyn and live in Flatbush-Midwood. I am knowledgeable of the market throughout New York City and specializes in rentals on the Upper West Side. Fluent in Hebrew, I am also an active member of the Brooklyn Jewish community.

What do you do best?

Pay attention to detail, it’s a skill I picked up while doing property management. I would inspect the finished work of the apartments before any potential tenants would come to see it, and I would double and triple check to make sure there would be no complaints from the tenants.

What makes you the best?

My attentiveness to my client’s needs. They tell me what they need and want and I deliver with nothing else in mind. I work for my client’s needs.

How will you stay the best?

Always learning more and progressing, it’s the only way to stay on top of the game.

Biggest success?

Running my father’s property management company for the past several years, that I was able to pursue my own career in Real Estate, to me nothing is a bigger success than being your own boss.

What are your aspirations?

Personal: Being able to retire as young as possible without a care in the world.

Business: Start my own brokerage and management company, which is so successful it practically runs itself.

Most challenging moment?

I would say trying to stay afloat in the Real Estate industry, as helpful as everyone is, this is a dog eat dog business where everyone is trying to close the next big thing.
