I am originally from Paris but have lived on the island for more than 20 years. I have been working at the Hotel Eden Rock- St Barths for the past 18 years holding the position of F&B Manager and recently moved to Le Toiny St Barth for a new challenge with the position of GM.
Hôtel Le Toiny is a 5-star Relais & Châteaux property comprised of 15 Luxury Private Villa Suites on St Barth, F.W.I. & home to the restaurant Le Gaïac.
What do you do best?
The close contact and relationships with the hotel guests and visiting clientele has always been my focus. We are so fortunate to have many repeat guests who, after years of visiting the island have become great friends.
What makes you the best?
My empathy and dedication to understanding the needs of our guests in order to fulfill their dreams of enjoying the “St Barth lifestyle”.
How will you stay the best?
Living on the island of St Barth, I had, have and will always have the island fever.
My daughter Chiara! But the biggest success is always yet to come. For me now, it’s a complete refurbishment of the Hotel including a new dinner restaurant and reception area, a new bar and lounge area, refurbishment of all the existing villa suites and a full beach service which opens in November this year and then the future new Villa suites in 2016.
What are your aspirations?
Personal: Simply to be happy in life and live with simplicity and humility on a small slice of paradise on earth.
Business: To succeed in the new challenge ahead of me - a very exciting project with many changes and to become the number one Hotel on the island.
Most challenging moment?
What fascinates you?
The beauty of the sun rising in the morning on the Caribbean Sea.
"Not looking for compliments avoids the reproaches"
Simple, humble but very charismatic, a little bit antithetical I know
All islands in general but specifically St. Barth, Porto Cervo (Italy) and New York
