Deven Chase, a third generation REALTOR®, is Managing Partner of Elite Homes US, LLC. and a luxury listing specialist with Synergy Sotheby's International Realty. A long time member of the Las Vegas community, Deven has a successful background in finance and marketing. Prior to creating Elite Homes and joining Synergy Sotheby's International Realty, Deven worked for Wells Fargo Financial and with some of the largest venues on Las Vegas Strip. Through his experiences and work history, Deven has utilized his network, business contacts and gregarious persona to not only complete tasks at hand, but also maintain a level of professionalism recognized by the industry. Most recently, Deven was recognized as a "Best of the Year" Luxury Professional by Deluxe Version Magazine.

Deven is also involved in his community and volunteers with several charitable entities and places of worship. He has served as a Housing Counselor at the Real Estate Help Center within the College of Southern Nevada (CSN) and also produced a quarterly Housing seminar and forum for college professors, faculty and the general public with a mission to empower the citizens of Las Vegas with information regarding home ownership.

What do you do best?

It is a true belief of mine that we all are "working titles" or in other words, "works in progress." I feel that in this moment, I am the best at embracing this belief and honoring the fact that change is the only continuum. In this, I recommit to myself daily that I will become a better version of me each day. I apply this ode to being the best in all my business endeavors and tasks. Over the course of time, I have noticed a very natural and organic growth in all areas of my professional life.

What makes you the best?

Great partnerships and my commitment to continue to increase my areas of service in my present capacity makes me the best. I understand that my efficacy in changing the world for the better, with real estate as my vehicle, depends on my ability to be of great service to my clients and business partners. It is a life goal and also my civic duty.

How will you stay the best?

I will stay the best by increasing my presence while sharpening the skills within my wheelhouse. I have learned that it is important to play to your own common advantages and also uncover the unique advantages specific to you as an individual. There is a place for everyone in the marketplace. It is incumbent upon you to select the best vertical that will compliment your preplanned upward trajectory.

Biggest Success?

I feel as though I am in the midst of my biggest success as I am currently experiencing my most profitable year in business. #MillionDollarListing.

Most challenging moment?

Navigating my business through the pitfalls of the economy during Great Recession in 2008-2010 was my most challenging moment.

My life-long career as a fast-tracked Investment/Mortgage Banker with a Fortune 500 financial institution was jilted during the Stock Market & Housing crash of 2008. Here, I had to make the difficult decision to depart from Corporate America and venture into uncharted territory as an independent business professional. The feeling of collecting an unemployment check did not sit well with me. I exited the workforce and began working for myself as a Real Estate Counselor; in which I partnered with the College of Southern Nevada to assist in producing a series of helpful seminars for citizens of Las Vegas. The series focus: homeowner options as relates to foreclosures, short sales & even bankruptcy.  Just years prior, I went from actually underwriting and selling financial products to customers in the community to using the knowledge I gained with the firm to assist the very same people who were tangled in the web of confusion during the Great Recession. As the market gradually came back, I was able to transition into selling homes with a newfound knowledge and respect for the industry and the world as a whole.

What are your aspirations?

Personal: I seek to inspire others in and outside my community by increasing my volunteer hours and speaking engagements. I seek to perform my "personal best" in these endeavors by setting new goals for myself in the name of the greater good.

Business: In a city that is built on handshakes, it is important to be poised, ethical and knowledgable in business. As I strive for higher levels, I aim to continue to break new sales record through Q4 2015. I plan to do these things by increasing my level of service while constantly sharpening my craft.

What fascinates you?

Identifying excellence in other successful, purpose-driven, solution-oriented business professionals is extremely fascinating to me. Their attention to detail, drive, commitment and consistency is nothing short of admirable. I never deny myself the opportunity to sit and talk with these types of people whenever I get a chance. They are not hard to identify when you're in their midst.
