Nancy Lynn Klein has a solid background in Global Marketing, Brand Management, Merchandising and Product Development; currently Ms. Klein is the President of NLK® Consulting & Design, LLC a company in which focuses on the luxury market and jewelry industry. After graduating from Ohio University’s Scripps School of Journalism, Nancy started her career in Brand Management at NW Ayer, the ad agency that at the time, represented DeBeers, which is where she developed a passion for the jewelry industry, while simultaneously attending the Gemological Institute of America (GIA). Throughout her career, Ms. Klein has worked for large global organizations such as; QVC, Henry Birks and Finlay as well as smaller jewelry companies such as; SeidenGang, HONORA & Samuel Aaron, primarily focusing on Marketing & Branding.
Klein created NLK® Consulting & Design, LLC primarily to work with companies looking to focus on an existing brand, create a new brand and/or re-launch a tired brand; Nancy’s individualized Programs help to promote brand recognition, generate new business, increase profitability and maintain customer satisfaction. Today, Ms. Klein is a Marketing and Branding Professor at Parsons School of Design in NYC which keeps her focused, motivated and ahead of the game; “My students are brilliant and teaching allows me the opportunity to be a part of the cutting edge world of fashion, an invaluable experience…I love what I do!
What do you do best?
Teach in the class room. I’m inspired by each new group of students and the different in-class discussions that ensue from class speakers and topics that evolve throughout the semester.
What makes you the best?
The passion that I have for what I do. Always going the extra mile and the individual interest I take in each student.
How will you stay the best?
By always keeping an open mind to learning.
Yet to achieve! However, most rewarding to date is teaching at Parsons School of Design for over 11 years. Selling my products live on QVC and HSN and starting a jewelry business.
What are your aspirations?
Personal: Continuing to be the best friend I can be…travelling the world and writing about the journey.
Business: Launching an extremely lucrative new jewelry business & Publishing my children’s book.

Outer Space, The Titanic, Art Deco & Jazz Age Architecture, Cultures in different parts of the world, Diane Arbus Photography.
