What do you do best?
I tailor nutrition and food plans that actually get results for our super busy, savvy clients. I guide them on how to eat at restaurants and even party and still feel and look their best.
What makes you the best?
I love what I do and will do everything in my power to help you, whether it’s being in touch daily via our Foodtrainers’ Foodstalking program, making restaurant menu recommendations, or even calling your hotel and having them clear out the minibar and restock with approved options. I love to take the work out of being healthy for my clients.
What are your aspirations?
My next project is working on a book idea! But I am also a travel junkie, so combining that with wellness is a top priority; I have some retreat ideas buzzing. I love working with small food brands on product development — possibilities are endless in the nutrition world right now!
Helping a client in her early 20’s lose 100+ lbs and reinvent her whole life’s path.
Personally, public speaking and being on camera have always been terrifying to me, so feeling much more comfortable and like it’s FUN is a huge success to me too. And running the NYC marathon was a big success in 2015.
Most Challenging Moment?
There have been so many challenging moments, with clients, with work, and personally. I used to suffer from panic attacks. I have to say that going to therapy intensely in my 20’s was essential for helping me get a grip and handle challenges and the ups and downs of living and working in NYC as they happen!
Right now, it’s “Leap and the net will appear"
But I always love the quote - “travel light, live light, spread the light, be the light” from yogi bhajan
My family, no contest! I’m the youngest of 4 and my siblings and parents are the coolest and most loving people i know.
The mountains. Colorado and VT.
Snack wise, anything in our foodtrainers store (foodtrainers.bigcartel.com). Beauty-wise i love everything in CAP beauty's West Village store and all things Jiva Apoha.
Also wakaya perfection’s turmeric powder is a daily can’t-live-without. Turmeric has mood boosting benefits similar to prozac… yes please! Wakaya is the creme de la creme in terms of brands. i put it in smoothies, in salad dressings, and on roasted veggies.
Traveling with cool people; I have trips planned in Moab and the Amalfi coast coming up.
Trying new things and meeting new people in NYC - I make it my mission to try one new thing (workout, concert, art) a week.
Books and podcasts, of course,
And i can’t forget my frenchie puppy, Ziggy!
