What do I do best?

I tune in to people. I believe I’ve developed an ability to get into your shoes so to speak and appreciate what it’s like to be you. From there we can shift into what I enjoy most of all. Helping people break free from old thoughts so we’re free to live the life we choose. I live for those defining moments, those instants when we can break free from the grip of the past and venture into new terrain. I strive to help others achieve this.

What makes me the best version of myself?

I grew up with a core belief that informed me, “I can do this.” Some people go through life thinking, “Why I can’t.” My instinct is, “Why can’t I?” This allows me to break through my boundaries and limitations. In midlife I changed careers when I felt a calling to follow a new path, enabling me to become a psychotherapist and author. I didn’t succumb to the typical fears that would have warned me about the all the practical and fear inducing reasons that I shouldn’t rock the boat so to speak.

What are my aspirations?

My professional aspirations are to continue to be a radical thinker allowing me to create new fields of inquiry and develop new methods for people to thrive in their lives. I’d like to write more books, give more lectures and workshops, teach other therapists my “quantum” approach to personal development and collaborate with intriguing minds. On a personal level, I’d like to travel much more and celebrate new friendships.

My Biggest Success?

My defining moment which allowed me to pivot from the world of business into the wonderful career of helping others manifest their authentic self and access their higher being. I’m so grateful to be living what I teach, or conversely, to be teaching what I’ve experienced. More importantly, my greatest success is in having nurtured my wonderful sons into becoming the incredible men they have become.

My Most Challenging Moment?

Two come to mind. My mid’-life decision to change careers ignited my divorce process. In the chaos of that crisis, with two young children and much uncertainty abounding, I managed to stay the course and succeed. I embraced that uncertainty and rode the waves of my change process.

In the midst of writing my new book, The Possibility Principle: How Quantum Physics Can Improve the Way You Think, Live and Love I felt stuck. Turing the complexity of this work into a cogent and easily comprehensible book overwhelmed me for a period. But it all worked out just as I had wished for. As Oliver Wendell Holmes said, “I don’t give a fig for simplicity on this side of complexity, but I’d give the world for simplicity on the other side of complexity.”

Personal mantra?

There is no separation. Reality is an undivided whole. It’s only our thoughts that slice and dice reality.

“How do you know it’s true?” I’ve seen that when we become welded to our beliefs and thoughts and equate them with being the “truth,” we stop evolving.

“The most important relationship you will ever have isn’t with your parents, your children or your spouse/partner. The most impactful relationship you will ever have is with your thoughts. They are your constant companion. Choose them with care.

My Favorite People/Role Models?

My parents, Barak Obama, Nelson Mandela, David Bohm, Albert Einstein, Mariano Rivera, Emma Goldman

My Favorite Places/Destinations?

West Village, NYC. Paris, Provence

My Favorite Products/Objects?

Photos of loved ones, particularly old black and white photos,

My Current Passions?

Old and dear friends, being in love, my sons, new thinking.
