What do I do best?
I Listen. I’ve always been a good, judgmental-free listener and observer. Even when I’m overwhelmed in my own life, I have the ability to show up for others with a clear, intuitive and open mind.
What makes me the best version of myself?
I’m always the best version of myself when I don’t take things too seriously. I love humor. Humor is at the core of my personality and teachings. Without it, life would be quite a bore.
What are my aspirations?
New York Times Best Selling Author. It’s basically the password to all my accounts, for all my hacker peeps.
My Biggest Success?
The moment I realized the answer to the first question, and started owning it as a mindfulness teacher and coach. Oh, and, winning my 8th grade smiling contest.
My Most Challenging Moment?
When my dad passed away. The grief was too big to process. And I felt I still had so much to learn from him.
All is possible.
My Favorite People/Role Models?
My mama. My dad. My husband. My crazy girlfriends. My teachers (especially Laurel Beversdorf and Ethan Nichtern). My students. Anyone who makes me laugh, really. The inventor of shower caps. And, people like you, who are genuinely interested in getting to know me.
My Favorite Places/Destinations?
My Brooklyn apartment, when it’s winter. ‘Down the Shore,’ when it’s summer. Any country that has 24-hour salsa dancing, when I’m feeling adventurous.
My Favorite Products/Objects?
My hand-painted wedding ketubah from Ketubahli on Etsy
Kindsnacks all day, every day.
And my shower cap, obvi.
My Current Passions?
Honoring my worth. Is that a passion? I suppose it could be. I also dabble in herbology.
