Edith Agoston is a Certified Integrative Nutrition Health Coach. I was born in Hungary. Live in Seattle Washington. Have my BA in Communications/Journalism from the University of Washington. Have a Masters Degree in Business Administration. Worked in retail management for 17 years. Found the Institute for Integrative Nutrition at a crossroads in my life and became a Certified Integrative Nutrition Health Coach in 2015. While coaching clients I also work on my blog and still have a full time job. I enjoy working out: I run (I run many 5 and 10ks each year and I've run about a dozen half marathons and one full marathon), I lift weights, I've been doing Bikram Yoga a few times a week for 15 years, I swim and bike!. I buy 90% of my food at my local farmers market. I try to read one book every month. I'm a sun worshipper even though I live in Seattle :)
What do I do best?
I think I do best at getting back on track. In life there are inevitably lots of set backs and obstacles to overcome and even though I do get thrown off at times, I always make sure to get back on track and keep striving towards my goals.
What makes me the best version of myself?
I think my ability to stay focused and centered allows me to be the best version of myself. Whenever I feel off track I think about what I’m grateful for, what I’ve already accomplished and remember that everything I need I already have within myself.
What are my aspirations?
I am aspiring to be a full time health coach helping people discover the power they have within themselves to lead their healthies lives possible which will in turn help them optimize every other aspect of their lives whether it be career, relationships or personal growth.
My Biggest Success?
I think my biggest accomplishment has been discovering my life’s purpose and being able to redirect my career and personal life in order to get myself aligned with it.
My Most Challenging Moment?
My most challenging moment was deciding to leave a career I had worked at building for 17 years. It was scary but I knew it wasn’t serving me and that in order to lead a fulfilling life I needed to take a leap of faith.
My mantra has been realizing that I can shape the course of my life through my thoughts, actions and emotions. Anytime I am struggling with something I remind myself to think different thoughts, take different actions and choose different emotions that will allow me to get back to that feel good feeling where I can accomplish anything!
My Favorite People/Role Models?
My role models lately have been people who are succeeding in the various roles they have taken on in the health and wellness community because that is what I am striving to do. I look up to a lot of people but there are a few who stand out: Maria Marlowe – a health coach and author, Kelly Leveque – holistic nutritionist and author and Jordan Younger – a blogger, health and wellness expert, podcaster

I’m a beach person, so I would have to say Hawaii
