What do I do best?

One of the things I do best is breathing. This may seem simple, but it’s taken awhile. The effects are vast and great.  This allows me to be calm and relaxed in spaces of turbulence and conflict. With these skills, I have the ability to be socially active, effect group dynamic energy to induce calm and tranquility.   Bringing levity to tough situations and empathetically listening are skills that I attribute to the breath; they are skills that I feel I am great at and are also in a process of constant refinement.

What makes me the best version of myself?

I have gotten to where I am today because of several qualities.  First and foremost, a ruthless determination and willingness to better myself are the pistons in the engine of my personal transformation machine.  A healthy sense of childlike curiosity allows me to navigate the world with wonder, awe and non-judgment.  In that, a beginners mind and a sense of an open-minded skepticism allows me to be in the seat of the learner, receive information from a trusted authority (even if it is different from my own beliefs) and then play with the concepts through inquiry and thought.  What is paramount in all of this is the ability to laugh at myself when I make mistakes.

What are my aspirations?

Some of my personal goals are to have a loving partnership, to see the world, to reach a sense of unabiding peacefulness and joy.  I want to laugh (a lot) daily and experience the range of human emotion.  I seek to inspire others to inspire themselves.  I’d like to have a quiet place to live with a garden, a dog and perhaps a family.  I’d like to create visual art.  I’d like to finish a couple of book projects.  Lastly, to continue my health journey (get those nasty heavy metals out of my body) and thrive in robust vitality.

My business goals are to create a thriving business that supports myself an others.  A business that is innovative and important for the world.  It will be a health, wellness, environmentally sound company that delivers transformational experiences for people.  I’d love to make money while making an impact.  My aspirations also include having a foundation that will offer scholarships for education, health and wellness education.

My Biggest Success?

One of my greatest accomplishments is curing myself of my allergies.  I had been riddled with all sorts of issues as a child.  Dust, cats, dogs, pollens, grasses, fragrances, certain food, fluorescent lights, and more.  Itchy eyes, a stuffy nose, indigestion and/or tickle in my throat were a regular thing.  I felt like bubble boy.  In my early mid twenties, I decided that I had enough and would begin to address this issue and find natural ways to heal myself — after all, some people didn’t have allergies, so why couldn’t I?  I felt (and still feel) that the power to heal was within us.  I did acupuncture, physical cleanses, made dietary shifts and even some funky energetic healings.  Within a few years I was (and have been) allergy free.  The success in accomplishing such a health feat is probably one of my most significant personal achievements.

My Most Challenging Moment?

One of the most challenging decisions I made was taking my senior year off from college.  It was a particularly troubling time for me.  A friend had dropped out, another arrested, some people even lost their lives and I was heading down a dangerous path.  I felt as if there was a particularly dark cloud around me during that time.  I knew I needed to pump the brakes to collect myself.  I took a leave of absence, went to Italy and worked on a farm.  I traveled a bit through Europe, then landed back in my hometown of Lawrenceville, NJ and got a job working in a restaurant.  After 8 months of earning I went back to school with a clear head and mended heart and finished up strong.  This decision was particularly challenging because I walked away from the typical societal expectations as a college student, a group of people I had forged relationships and party habits in which I was ensnared.

My Motto?

There are many: “That which is to give light must endure the burning.” ~ Viktor Frankl  “It takes the time it takes.” ~ Don Stapleton, Ph. D.  “Let food be thy medicine and medicine be thy food.” ~ Hippocrates  “Imagination is more important than knowledge.  For knowledge is limited to all we know and understand, while imagination embraces the entire world, and all there ever will be to know and understand.” ~ Albert Einstein

My Favorite People/Role Models?

Children are my most favorite personal role models.  Their creativity, curiosity, expression, innocence, imagination and wonder continually inspire me.  They are raw and human and fully experiencing the human spectrum.  They have little in the way of judgments on things.  They feel, explore and respond.  They know what they like and what they don’t and aren’t afraid of sharing it.  Every time I spend time with children I learn something, become inspired and have lots of fun.

My Favorite Places/Destinations?

Nosara, Costa Rica is a favorite spot of mine.  The surfing and community is awesome.  Saratoga Springs, New York is my home away from home.  I’ve been going there as long as I can remember to visit family and every time I’m there I enjoy it even more.  Barcelona, Spain is a place that I’ve visited and love because it has a healthy mix of art, creativity, inspiration, socialization, expression and fun. The vastness of my imagination is also a favorite travel destination.  I can travel all over the world and universe.  I even get the chance to make up experiences that are otherworldly.

My Favorite Products/Objects?

Frisbee, yoga mat, food-based supplements, foam roller and massage balls, water bottle, my computer, my drum and singing bowl.

My Current Passions?

Currently, I am passionate for vibrant and healthy living.  I’m passionate about nature, social change, art and innovation.  I know those are a bit broad, but embracing a spirit of creativity and expression has been fueling my passions lately.  In that, I am inspired to help uplift and inspire people to uplift and inspire themselves.  I am passionate about healthy eating, but not obsessive in a health nut sort of way.  I am passionate about helping people find their inner teacher, their inner physician, their inner therapist, their inner child, their inner source and change their lives themselves.
