What do I do best?

I’m very passionate about teaching and helping people through holistic wellness, yoga and spirituality. I pour all of my energy, time and effort behind it. I love learning and investing in my personal and spiritual growth.

Whether I’m taking additional trainings for personal, professional or spiritual development ... Or I’m creating a new program, classes or events to share with others, I invest myself fully into projects so they can be meaningful, inspiring and transformative.

What makes me the best version of myself?

I had to overcome being bullied and being told I was not good enough several times in my life... my determination, resilience and commitment are my most powerful sources of energy that keep me going. I may fall or stumble in the process, but then I get up, dust off and try again.

I keep going because I want to lead by example and show others that is not the situations, circumstances, and obstacles from the past that define us. It is how we respond to these situations and challenges that define who we are.

What are my aspirations?

I’ve always wanted to make a positive difference in people’s lives. Since I was a little girl, I have always dreamt of being a lawyer. I was inspired by the Matlock TV series... I wanted to make all the wrongs of the world right.

Today, that same desire continues... Making a positive difference in people’s lives around the world. I may not be in a courtroom, but I’m making a difference by educating women about mind, body and emotional wellness. My past experiences with chronic pain, being bullied and feeling unworthy have helped me connect with people in meaningful and powerful ways. I want to help people heal emotional wounds, improve their health, become more confident, and live a life full of meaning and purpose

My Biggest Success?

Professionally, I can honestly say I’ve been successful traveling the world teaching yoga, holistic wellness and leading luxury retreats. When I first moved from Venezuela to the US, I experienced some prejudice remarks. I became self-conscious and I did not speak in public for three months. To think that 10 years later I would be traveling the world successfully teaching and speaking in public (not my mother tongue) is something that I’m very proud of.

On the personal level, my biggest success has been being happily married to my wonderful husband of 21 years and seeing my son become an incredible young man.

My Most Challenging Moment?

Moving to the US leaving family, friends, my culture, and all I’ve known behind. This also meant I would not finish my career in law ending my childhood dream of becoming a lawyer.

Although it was a difficult decision, especially when you are 20 years old, this decision changed my life for the better. I met my husband and I entered the world of health and wellness, which helped me heal from the inside out.

My Motto?

Whether you think you can or you cannot, you are absolutely right. Challenges are always going to come up in our lives, and how we choose to respond to these challenges is what is going to make a difference and impact all aspects of our lives.

I choose to see challenges as opportunities for growth.

My Favorite People/Role Models?

My mom and grandma both are incredible women that have overcome many challenges and hardships yet they are two of the most loving, generous, kindest people I’ve known. They are two incredible role models that continue to inspire me everyday.

Ellen DeGeneres is someone that inspires me when it comes to being authentic, standing up for what you believe, following your dreams, and making a difference in people’s lives.

My Favorite Places/Destinations?

I love traveling and experiencing new cultures. Having traveled to Africa, India, Greece, Peru, Mexico, Europe, and Canada, I love all of these places. Each place holds a special and unique memory that cannot be compared to the others. When I went to Peru, we visited an orphanage with my yoga group. I ended up teaching yoga to some of the kids but one little girl in particular would not let go of me. Today, I still think about Sol (her name) wishing I could have adopted her. Another time I went to Africa and my experience with the school girls still brings tears to my eyes. Bali and Santorini are pretty special too.  I hope that narrows it down some.

My Favorite Products/Objects?

My yoga mat, my essential oils, my malas (prayer beads), and a tiger rug where I sit during my meditations... and of course CHOCOLATE. I love chocolate

My Current Passions?

Teaching and coaching, spending time with my family, traveling, taking courses for personal and spiritual development, connecting with like minded people and creating new and exciting things to share with others.
