What do I do best?
I keep it real and tell it like it is. I am known for posting unedited photos of me, telling clients something they may not want to hear, and definitely not selling a product that I don’t believe in. You do not need cleanses, shakes, detoxes to lose weight. The only product I sell is “me” and my plans. You do not need anything fancy to get healthy and fit.
What makes me the best version of myself?
I am living proof of my nutrition and training programs. Everything I write for others is everything I have done myself to change and transform my own body. I stay true to myself by incorporating these tactics into my daily routine. I eat carbs, and late at night or any time of the day, and do not limit myself to any types of foods. My training is part of my life, not something I must do. Having this philosophy to have a healthy lifestyle and not be married to a harsh diet has made me feel so empowered in my life.
What are my aspirations?
I would like to be a worldwide name, helping as many as possible. My plans work as long as they are followed and they are sustainable for real life long term and can be done virtually anywhere. They are not about starvation, cleanses or detoxes. They are tools to help you live a healthy lifestyle. I am in the process of writing a book and an e-cookbook so it would please me greatly to see them both published soon!
My Biggest Success?
My children are by far my greatest success. To know I have done a great job raising 2 beautiful, well respected children is unsurmountable to anything else. But my business certainly comes 2nd. I started from nothing and built it up within a year to over 16,000 followers on social media and thousands of customers from all over the world. I am going into my 3rd year and am overwhelmed at the amount of emails and messages I receive from people literally around the world thanking me for helping, motivating and inspiring them. There is no better feeling, and I am just getting started!
My Most Challenging Moment?
When I started posting on Instagram, I promised myself that I although certain posts would certainly get more likes and followers I wanted to keep it classy and always remember that my daughter and young women were seeing whatever I posted. While I could've certainly received more business, likes and followers from more exposed photos, I want to be a role model to my daughter and everyone else watching out there. If people love my content, they will follow regardless. It’s a tough game out there but I need to keep true to myself and my beliefs.
You can never out train a bad diet. So many people spin their wheels years on end starving themselves performing endless amounts of cardio while never being able to make a change to their body. Nutrition needs to come first, since it’s 80% of the equation.
My Favorite People/Role Models?
I honestly don’t have any role models. I try to be the best I can be on a daily basis. I aspire to be the next Jillian Michaels in terms of the amount of people she reaches but I don’t want to be like her in any way. I just want to connect to as many people as I can to help them with their health and fitness goals and I wish I could have the means to reach as many as her!
My Favorite Places/Destinations?
My favorite place I have ever visited was South Africa. No one is too old to see such beautiful animals! Going on safari with my family was incredible. The food was delicious, the people were beyond friendly and you never get tired of looking for animals you don’t normally see first hand!
Iceland was also a terrific trip. Untouched beauty and nature at its finest. While I love to plant my rear on a beach, nothing compares to exploring sights that are once in a lifetime opportunities.
My other favorite place is at the holiday dinner table with my family either at my parents or sisters’ houses. I absolutley treasure the time and conversations that take place between the kids, whom are now young adults and the adults. There is nothing more important than family.
My Favorite Products/Objects?
I am a shopper of all sorts but my obsession is workout wear and sneakers! Since I am in activewear mostly every day I am always scouring new finds! I always like to be put together and the options for athleisure these days are incredible! You can be comfortable and look great at the same time!
I also love to cook and always baking new recipes for my followers so anything that I can find to make my life easier and fun in the kitchen I buy! I love my spiralizer because it makes eating vegetables more fun and my corn on the cob cutter! The simple things in life make me happy.
My Current Passions?
Helping people get fit! Motivating them, inspiring them, teaching them that it is never too late to get healthy and fit. I wish I knew what I do now when I was younger. If I can help just one a day than I have done my deed for the day! There is nothing more rewarding then receiving emails and messages from people telling me I have helped kickstart their journey.
With that being said I also am extremely passionate about my own health and fitness. I love being able to see the changes I make both mentally and physically over the years. Little daily habits add up to big changes over time!
