What do I do best?
I truly see people for who they are, beyond the masks. I’m deeply intuitive so I’m able to see beyond the surface of what people show me and get to the heart of what’s really going on with someone. One of my “superpowers” is making people feel safe and comfortable being vulnerable. People often reveal things about themselves to me that they don’t share with many people. I consider that an honor and I know it’s because people feel that I really understand what they’re going through and get them. My gift is helping people navigate to a place of truth within themselves with a huge amount of compassion and empathy.
What makes me the best version of myself?
Being kind and treating people with respect. I genuinely love people and forming deep connections with others is what makes me feel alive. I’ve never had to work hard at being nice. I try to see the best qualities in everyone and give of myself as much as I can. I really believe in showing up for people. When we show up for people, we’re letting them know, “you matter”. Because I do this consistently, I’ve always had people want to help me out both personally and professionally. It’s gotten me every opportunity and good fortune I’ve ever had in my life.
What are my aspirations?
Personally I want to keep challenging myself on every level…. Physically, emotionally and spiritually. I’m a huge fitness buff so every year I challenge my body by taking on some new, hard-core workout program. I’ve realized that I really can do anything when I push myself and put my mind to it. The year 2018 is my year of “Yes”…. Which means I’ve promised myself to say yes to everything no matter how scary or outside my comfort zone it is.
Professionally I want to finish writing my first book. I have at least 2 in me right now… One that inspires and empowers people to let go of their old “stories” and teaches them how to step into their Divine bass-ass power and one “I can’t-put-it down” fiction novel.
I also want to step into the speaking arena and partner with other female power-houses and spiritual teachers like Marianne Wlliamson, Gabby Bernstein, Danielle LaPorte, Oprah, Brene Brown, etc… We heal by sharing our stories with one another and the lessons we've learned along the way. I feel such a calling and responsibility to be one of those voices, especially for women.
My Biggest Success?
OMG, it’s so difficult to single out just one. But I’d say being selected by best-selling author, coach and speaker, Crystal Andrus Morrisette to be a featured author in her soon to be released book, “Simply Women ~ Stories from Phenomenal Women Who Have Risen Against the Odds”. As a writer it was such an honor to be selected to write a chapter for the book but an even bigger honor that my personal story was one she felt was important enough to tell because she feels strongly it will inspire and help heal other women.
Personally it would be my 2 children. Creating and giving life to 2 beautiful souls…it’s one of the greatest things I’ve ever done.
My Most Challenging Moment?
The decision to leave the East coast and all my family and friends to pursue my dream of working in the entertainment industry. I loved my life in NYC and am very close with my family but my heart always felt called to move to the West Coast to work in the film industry. So I sold everything I owned and relocated to LA when I was 25 years old. It was truly one of the bravest, ballsiest moves I’ve ever made! Although I’ve had to make a lot of sacrifices in regards to being with my family for some really important events, I’ve had an amazing, incredibly exciting and successful career that has far exceeded my expectations.

My Favorite People/Role Models?
Oprah Winfrey has always been my biggest role model. Her lessons and insights about life that she’s passed on through her show, her speaking engagements and Super Soul Sunday series on OWN have literally changed me and have become the blueprint for how I try to live my life.
Personally, my parents are my role models. They are both just really good people. Kind, generous, thoughtful, loyal and so loving. They would do anything for anybody. Everything about me that’s good came from the two of them.
My Favorite Places/Destinations?
If I didn’t have to work for a living, I would most definitely be traveling the world. I love Europe with a passion. Every country is a gem but Italy and France are top on my list. And anyplace that’s warm and has sand! Mexico never lets me down, no matter what part of the country I travel to.
I also love destination resort spas. Some of my favorites are Miraval, Canyon Ranch, Ojai Valley Inn and the Enchantment Resort and Spa in Sedona.
My Favorite Products/Objects?
I’m a little obsessed with all things that smell good so I love Bath & Body Works scented body lotions, C.O. Bieglow Vanilla-mint lip balm, and Amazing Grace body spray. For my home I love Voluspa candles… every scent is amazing and makes my whole house smell great. And framed photographs of special memories I’ve made with my friends and family.
My Current Passions?
I love nutrition and fitness so I’m really passionate about working out. My current passion is Beachbody on Demand because I have access to 100’s of workouts online so I never get bored. I even get my kids in on the action so we make it a family affair!
I’m also wildly passionate about writing obviously since I’m a writer. Honestly, writing is everything for me…. A creative outlet, an expression of who I am, a tool I use to process and heal myself and one of the most fulfilling ways for me to connect with people and let them know they aren’t alone in whatever they’re going through. I can’t go a day without writing. It just feeds me soul.
