WHAT DO YOU DO BEST?

I’m a great mother and wife, I’m an excellent cook and professionally, I’m a passionate and engaging presenter/teacher.

WHAT MAKES YOU THE BEST VERSION OF YOURSELF?

BALANCE

When my life is balanced, I feel both grounded and powerful and “at my best”

WHAT ARE YOUR ASPIRATIONS?

I aspire to be a force of positive change in the world.

I aspire to motivate and educate good people towards living a healthy and more holistically-integrated lifestyle.

As of 2016, opiod overdoses killed 65,000 people in America (1) and a full two-thirds of the top ten disease killers in the United States can be prevented through diet and lifestyle (2)(3).

I recognize that chronic low back pain is a symptom of complex biopsychosocial issues, interconnected with complex neuroimmunity issues and delicate sensorimotor miscommunications.

I aspire to connecting and collaborating with forward-thinking leaders and teachers to retrain how we treat back pain.

BIGGEST SUCCESS?

My biggest success is keeping it all together, every day, all day.

MOST CHALLENGING MOMENT?

Recently, I was presenting at a big conference with both of my mentors in the room.  I was already pretty nervous but I also made the mistake of trying on a friends nutritive patch “to see if it works” and ended up gravely overdosing on caffeine.  I basically had a nervous breakdown and then had to stand up to teach 85 people at 7:30am.   I pulled it off amped up as if I had just snorted five lines of cocaine.  In the end I had to narrow down my Grand Plan to just teach one thing and teach it well.

MOTTO?

“I shall be telling this with a sigh

Somewhere ages and ages hence:

Two roads diverged in a wood, and I —

I took the one less traveled by,

And that has made all the difference.”

by Robert Frost
