Dr. Owen Thomas Ashton: Doctor & Author

My NativeAdVantage:

Bio:

Dr Ashton, originally from a small Ohio town, has practiced General Surgery since 1984.  He has been active in his surgical clinic, and has authored several books which he uses for teaching his patients.  Based on a thirty year experience dealing with life and death decisions, raising children in South Florida, and his three near death experiences, he describes how he eventually came to appreciate universal knowledge. It is the cryptic nature of teachings from all the avatars and mystics that discloses the truth that sets us free. This knowledge allows us to "live above the fray". AFTER extensive research, he discovered that the LAWS OF NATURE, once understood and applied, can render all "negative" perceptions as completely and utterly irrelevant.

What do I do best?

As a surgeon, the best thing I do is take care of my patients.  As a father the best thing I do is take care of my children.  As an author the best thing I do is raise the awareness of my readers.  And the best concept of awareness I teach is unconditional love.

What makes me the best version of myself?

Since life on planet earth is often complicated and events unpredictable, I strive to feel gratitude in all things, and to appreciate adversity as a valuable asset in my evolution.

What are my aspirations?

Life is a project.  It’s not a test.  We have nothing to prove.  This awareness gives us freedom to evolve.  Evolution can take eons on the physical plane, yet the most important advancements now depend on our ability to evolve our thinking.  Our personal/business ambitions and desires change based on our ability to learn from our mistakes (a blessing).  My personal ambition is to facilitate the transfer of information to individuals receptive to radical truth.

My Biggest Success?

Success is a nebulous concept the meaning of which is relative to the present circumstances.  My concept of success now is not what it was even one year ago.  The greatest success one could achieve is the confidence that no matter how things worked out, one did his best, while harming no sentient being:  then to surrender and accept.

My Most Challenging Moment?

Having been told by numerous “sources” that an average guy from a small Ohio town could never hope to become a surgeon, my “challenging moment” was to convert the powers of rejection into the powers of determination.   And by constant visualization and by imagination, I found myself accepted into one of the top ten medical schools in the nation.  Then the real challenge was to complete this study and a surgical residency while supporting a family.

My Motto?

Evolve with determination
