My Biggest Success?
My biggest success has been collaborating with my business partner and spouse successfully since our marriage in 2003. It’s wonderful to watch our relationship develop and grow, as we develop and grow together.
My Most Challenging Moment?
When facing a choice between investing into my academic career or focusing on popularizing decision-making and emotional and social intelligence for a broad audience, I made the tough choice to turn back from academia and focus on being a science communicator. It was difficult to make that decision, but I used the research-based methods that I learned about in academia to make sure that I aligned my values with my activities, and never regretted my choice.
The only things under my control are my thoughts, behaviors, and feelings.
