What do I do best?
I’d say I’m really good at online shopping haha. I can’t think of anything else!
What makes me the best version of myself?
What is making me the best version of myself is my desire for personal growth. I’m just always looking to improve, grow, learn, and push my boundaries a little bit more. I’ve always had the desire to take that chance or take that leap. There’s just so many things I want to do in my life which have been dormant for years but I’m slowly unraveling pieces of myself and coming closer to who I’m supposed to be.
What are my aspirations?
I aspire to help others and this is something I already do with my Instagram page but I want to be able to help people on a bigger platform. I eventually want to create a cookbook and hold seminars to talk about my health journey and inspire others to follow their own. I want to teach people to live their optimal life for the short period of time on earth. I think they’ll be able to access that when they are in the best health. My business goal is to have my name become a brand. I’m not too sure exactly what I want to do or how I’ll get there yet, but I’m off to a good start.
My Biggest Success?
My biggest success/moment that I’m proud of is finally getting aligned with myself and my health. It was during a time where I wasn’t in school or employed, so I channeled my energy on my health. I started to work out regularly and took the time to learn about the nutrition. That was life changing because I’ve grown and become so aware of myself, my health, and it has reframed my life.
My Most Challenging Moment?
It was probably when I first cut wheat/gluten and sugars from my diet for the candida cleanse. Hardest thing ever! But best decision for my health. I learned through experience how resilient the body is and just how sick I was from eating certain foods.
“Everything you want is on the other side of fear” I used to hinder my curiosity and hold myself back from challenges or opportunities a lot in the past. I’m slowly learning however to approach new challenges and opportunities with an open mind because it may be the best thing that’s ever happened to me. And even if it isn’t, I learned a lesson from it.
My Favorite People/Role Models?
My brother, Andre, and celebrities/social media personalities (in no particular order): Teedra Moses, Gary Vaynerchuck, Issa Rae, Oprah, etc.! So many more to name!
My Favorite Places/Destinations?
Wow. There are so many places/destinations I have yet to travel to but so far I’ve loved Jamaica and Miami. I love tropical locations with hot weather and nice beaches.
My Favorite Products/Objects?
My laptop and my phone are two of my most favourite devices lol.
My Current Passions?
I want to be able to help people. When I first started my Instagram page it was because I was looking for someone to follow who could give me recipe ideas or just to follow someone who was struggling with the diet like I was. Then it clicked to me to just make my own page sharing my journey with others. Ever since doing that, I’ve gotten messages from people who thank me for my page and tell me how much it has helped them! So I’m just thankful that I was able to provide someone with information or tips on how to heal themselves. I think that’s priceless. I want to build a platform where I can tell my story to thousands more and enlighten those who aren’t even aware of digestive issues to learn and make changes in their life.
