My Goal of the Day:  The goal of the day really depends on the day.  Its ALWAYS my goal to inspire others on their health & fitness journey, to stay on my journey and to be a good mom.  Todays goal was to wrap up some lose ends on a project Im filming next week as well as to finalize some work on my restaurant before it opens in two weeks.

My Thought of the Day: You are entirely up to you.  Sometimes you have to give yourself a little pep talk.  When life is crazy and its easy to get weighed down by it you have to CHOOSE a positive attitude.

My Action of the Day: My action of the day is to TAKE ACTION.  Forward motion.

What do you love most about Your City? 

I love everything about Los Angeles.  I love that I can experience the city and then escape to the mountains where its quiet.  But mostly I love that there is a huge focus on health and wellness here.  It allows me to constantly learn, grow and challenge myself in the field that I love.

Favorite breakfast meal & restaurant? 

My favorite breakfast meal is Fixate turkey breakfast sausage (from my cook book), and sautéed red potatoes and mixed veggies ( asparagus, broccoli, bell peppers and onions).  With a cup of coffee, black with 1 tsp of organic raw sugar.  My favorite restaurant is mine, Calabrese Cafe.  My brother is head chef and the menu is loaded with delicious, healthy food, smoothies and coffees.

What are you doing at:

6:00 AM – Waking up and getting my son ready for school.  That means, making breakfast, packing lunch, making sure he's dressed, his football bag is packed and he has everything he needs for the day.

10:00 AM - At 10am Im usually finished with my workout, showered & dressed for the day and heading to the office for meetings or to the restaurant to check on things.

12:00 PM - Favorite Lunch spot/meal? 

I don't eat out that often.  I prefer to make my food at home.  If Im not eating at home then I prefer to take my food with me because then I always know what Im getting.  But when I do eat lunch out I love sushi at Katsuya.  I like to order salmon & yellowtail sashimi, a baked crab hand roll and shishito peppers.  

7:00 PM -  Night time is always hectic at my house.  At 7 pm Dominic and I are usually eating dinner.  I like to cook so I usually make something from my cooking show Fixate.  Dinner is when he and I get to talk about the day, how school was, how football practice was and anything that he wants to tell me about.  After dinner Dom helps me clean up, we finish up any homework that we might not have gotten to then its time for him to shower and unwind before bed.  I usually let him watch a show before bed so we cuddle up on the couch and put on Netflix.  His show of choice right now is Bunked.  By 8:30 he's asleep and its back to work for me.   I try not to work to much when Dominic gets home from school so I can give him my attention which usually leaves work to be finished after he goes to sleep.  Ill finish up emails or projects Im working on.

11:00 PM - I better be at least an hour into REM sleep by 11pm.  My days are long and busy.  I usually go to bed by 10pm during the week.  Sometimes Ill turn on a show and sometimes I read but its lights out no later than 10:30.

What drink do you need to get through the day and at the end (and how many)? 

I need to get my workout in first thing in the morning.  It truly sets up my day.  It gets the endorphins pumping, it gets my mind and my body in the right place and then I don't think about it the rest of the day.  At the end of the day I NEED to unwind.  I need to completely shut my brain of from working.  It feels like its going 100 miles an hour most of the day, so at the end of the day I like to put on a good tv show, make a glass of tea, grab a piece of really good dark chocolate and just veg out on the couch.

Most used App/Favorite Instagram Account? 

My most used app is Beachbody On Demand.  My favorite Instagram account is best vacations.  I love seeing all the beautiful amazing places in the world and thinking up where my next vacation might be.

What should everyone try at least once?  

Asking for what they want.  I so often see people want something, working for something but never come out and actually ask for it.  The worst that can happen is that you will be told no, being told no won't ruin your life, but asking for what you want and getting a yes could just change you life.

Where do you enjoy getting lost?

I enjoy getting lost in music.  It moves you, makes you think, can uplift your attitude.  As a dancer getting lost in music has always been my favorite thing to do.
