What do I do best?
What I think I do best is communicating my thoughts with authenticity, both in my personal and business relationships.
What makes me the best version of myself?
The most important characteristic that has gotten me to where I am today is the willingness to be thankful for every life experience.
What are my aspirations?
My personal ambitions would be to write another book and teach yoga and meditation around the world. My business goals and ambitions are to build my branding and consulting firm, and work with a non-profit to volunteer my services.
My Biggest Success?
My biggest success was following a speech I gave on September 11, 2011. A soldier approached me and thanked me for serving our country. At first, I wasn’t sure what he meant, but then I realized that we can all serve by doing what is right.
My Most Challenging Moment?
My most challenging moment was escaping Tower 2 of the World Trade Center on September 11th. The personal decision to leave the building even after Port Authority told us it was safe to return to Tower 2 saved my life and had the most impact on my future.
My beloved Mom would say, “Live, love and laugh. That’s all you have to do.” I try my very best to live by that motto every day.
My Favorite People/Role Models?
My favorite role model from a business perspective is Jim Rohn. My father introduced me to his teachings at a very early age, but not until recently have I understand how inspirational Jim Rohn was and continues to be. His Holiness Dalai Lama is not a personal role model, but one of my favorite teachers on mindfulness and compassion for all living Beings.
My Favorite Places/Destinations?
While I do love vacationing in tropical locations, my favorite travel destination is Japan. As a little girl I spent a month in Tokyo and was fascinated with the people, the culture and the art. I have yet to visit Europe, so that could likely change.
My Favorite Products/Objects?
My favorite objects are a mala bead necklace I received from a monk in Tibet, as well as rosary beads given to me by a family member. Both I hold dear to my heart.
My Current Passions?
My current passion is learning Italian, something I have had interest in for years, and writing my guided meditation practices for upcoming workshops. I am also a certified paralegal, and am eager to volunteer doing pro bono work for those in need.
