My name is Tony Ferrari and I am an instructor at Barry's Boot Camp. I’ve been a competitive athlete for as long as I can remember. I spent my younger years as a competitive gymnast, which eventually led me to all-star cheerleading. I found a love for training athletes as I began my career coaching and choreographing all across Long Island. I joined the Barry’s instructor team in 2016. I’m known for my high energy in the studio and my electrifying playlists.
What do I do best?
My best quality is being able to motivate others to their personal best.
What makes me the best version of myself?
My personal drive is definitely my most prominent quality that has gotten me to where I am today.
What are your aspirations?
At this point in my life I’m 26 years old, about to be 27, and I am very focused on my career. I would say my career definitely takes the shot gun seat in my life over anything personal. Although I have noticed a shift as I approach my later 20’s that I would like to find someone to start and share my life with. Kids are definitely on the horizon for me and I would like to have a family by my 40’s.
My Biggest success?
My biggest success is when I made a career shift and joined the incredible instructor team at Barry’s.
My most challenging moment?
This moment for me took place when I had to tell my dad that I was leaving my career in product development and design to begin a career in fitness. This has also been my most gratifying moment looking back now, because of the success that I have found at Barry’s. It is nice to know I made the right decision.
Just do it.
My favorite people/role models?
I dedicate a lot of my success in teaching to a fellow trainer at Barry’s, Patrick Frost. The way that he commands a room, his passion, and the knowledge he has obtained over the years about fitness is inspiring.
My Favorite places/destinations.
My favorite place is always, and will always be in the red room at Barry’s.
My favorite product/objects?
Hands down, my favorite objects are dumbbells. I love the creativity behind programming with a set of dumbbells, and also getting a good sweat on.
My current passions?
The one thing I am VERY exited about is my growth at Barry’s. A lot has happened to me and I have been given a lot of amazing opportunity’s over the last year, and I am very excited to see where it goes.
