I’m good at following the latest trends in fashion and design that translate to our 7TRUE nail polish curated collections.

I’m the best version of myself when I’m doing what I love. I’m very passionate about what I do and I do it with pride and joy.

What are my aspirations?

I hope that we can contribute to the beauty industry “one polish at a time” by spreading the word about clean beauty; creating more conscious consumers, making them think about what products they buy and the impact they have on the body in the long run.

My Biggest Success?

I’m happy that I was able to start a company with a purpose along with my two friends and business partners. It sets a huge example for my son and I’m proud of that.

My Most Challenging Moment?

When I decided to leave my corporate job; you deal with your ego, uncertainty and fear of what’s next but I’m very grateful for my family because they’ve been my biggest supporters and cheerleaders.

My Motto?

Express gratitude and live by it. Gratitude turns what you have into enough. Know that you will have more of what you’re grateful for.

My Favorite People/Role Models?

The beauty industry has so many stories about brands created by women for women, that is always inspiring, it’s great a learning journey.

My Favorite Places/Destinations?

My all-time happy place is Hawaii. There is a sense of “enough”, you don’t need much to the feel joy of just being there.

My Favorite Products/Objects?

I’m a nail polish lover and 7TRUE nail polish is my favorite! I feel very proud of the quality of our product.

My Current Passions?

7TRUE is my passion, there is so much to do and this is just the beginning.

How did you get into the industry?

I’m a nail polish lover and always had an interest in fashion. I started my own journey into the non-toxic beauty world by searching for cleaner yet fashionable options and that inspired me to do something to create more awareness and bring clean beauty to more people including young girls.

Any emerging industry trends?

The clean beauty movement, is getting bigger and bigger, consumers are more mindful and savvy about what’s in their beauty products.

Any industry opportunities or challenges?

The opportunity to educate and share the clean beauty movement is exciting, we work on it every day via our social media outlets.

Inspiration for the business idea, and your vision for the Business?

We wanted to bring a cleaner option for nail polish that was fashionable and safe and by starting as a subscription box online was the most effective way to reach out to more people and also the best way to give back to women’s causes.

What's next for the Business in the near future?

We are still pretty new, so we are working on expanding brand awareness and distribution in the U.S. We are in the process of launching new offers and products, which we will reveal in the first half of the year. And maybe team up with the right investment partner that shares our vision for our brand so that we can continue growing as a clean, vegan, non-toxic cosmetic company.

Your key initiatives for the success of the Business?

We started working with the right partners from the beginning. Don’t save on Legal or Branding, do it right the first time around and it’ll save you money and headaches.

Your most difficult moment at the Business? (and what did you learn?)

Sometimes you find out that nobody else is going to put more heart and love into the brand than yourself.  So look at what you can do yourself and just go for it, it pays off.

Ideal experience for a customer/client?

We want our customers to feel good about their non-toxic choice, knowing that the product is safe, durable and trendy.

How do you motivate others?

By being grateful for them and appreciate their dedication and contribution.

Career advice to those in your industry?

Don’t be afraid, things will work out if you know what you want.
