Lindsey Goldwasser is a holistic health coach, wellness educator, and energy expert (in addition to your biggest cheerleader and accountability partner). She is also a yoga/meditation instructor, and indigo business owner in Arlington, VA. Lindsey received her Bachelors of Science in Education and Kinesiology from the University of Virginia and her Masters in Arts and Education from George Washington University. After she graduated from the Integrative Institute of Nutrition (IIN) Lindsey felt compelled to shift careers. She uses her knowledge of movement and science, plus her own experiences, to coach others. Lindsey works with individuals to achieve more balance, more energy, and more healthy habits during everyday life struggles, as opposed to surrendering to stress and digestive issues. By coaching others through lifestyle shifts, nutritional values, and self-care tactics, Lindsey empowers her clients to take control of their health, wellness and life.
What do I do best?
I am a listener, a really active listener. This skill has allowed me to connect with others personally, professionally, and on an social-emotional level.
What makes me the best version of myself?
What makes me the best version of myself is my self-driven nature and my desire to be authentic in all areas of life. It brought me the utmost joy from teaching preschool special education for 7 years but once the fire was burning out I knew it was time to shift my energy into healing others from a holistic perspective. With little business background I was able to gain resources to put together a business model in order to serve and reach prospective clients searching for more balance in their lives.
What are my aspirations?
My personal aspirations are to NEVER stop growing and continue to live my dreams, side by side, with my partner in life. My business goals and ambitions are to establish my business on steady enough ground that I feel confident financially in my career and can continue to share my passion and dream with others.
My Biggest Success?
My biggest success is hands-down taking back control of my health. I spent years in digestive distress and misdiagnoses; this sickness slowly trickled into various areas of my life. Foods that I thought were “healthy” were not working for my body. I was able to shift my diet and lifestyle that changed restless nights to sound sleep and fearful thoughts about food to empowered decision making.
My Most Challenging Moment?
When I was 17 my aunt passed away from colon cancer that had spread everywhere. We didn’t understand how this happened. She was a work out fanatic and vegetarian/health nut. However, she was under an incredible amount of external stress. I remember exactly where I was, what I was wearing, what it looked like around me, down to the second. I was not with her when she passed. The most challenging moment was facing the fact I was not with her when she passed but being grateful for all of the moments and memories that we shared together.
Being healthy doesn’t have to be hard!
