What do I do best?

(Tell us what you think you do better than anything else - personal or business related)

My gift is the ability to connect, be compassionate and inspire others.  I see any challenge as an opportunity to dismantle fear and as a result, I get to help others break through barriers that seem impossible.

What makes me the best version of myself?

Deep connection with my soul and an unwavering mindset.  I have learned to slow down inside a fast-paced lifestyle. It sounds counterproductive but less has become more. The quality of my well being reflects on my home life and business. I have daily requirements that include silence, contemplation and setting intentions. This practice reminds me of my purpose, what I am required to do that day, who I am required to be and who I am doing it for.  If that means getting up at 5 am before my 2-year-old, 19 years old and husband I do it.

Also … Lots of time at the spa .. which usually translates to more silence mixed in with self-care.

What are my aspirations?

I am passionate about teaching Women to honor and love themselves.  My desire is to travel the world creating a global community of Women who are empowered and know that they are enough.

My Biggest Success?

This past year I found myself sitting front row at a fashion show in Paris France as a personal guest to the designer. Amongst me in the most lavish room, I have ever been in and that John Galliano had just shown his collection in days before, I sat with some of the most influential names in the business and did not feel one bit out of place. I knew deep inside that I belonged and that I was worth this experience. In those same moments I reflected back on how only 17 short years before this I was a single teen Mom, living on welfare, in low-income housing, I had no education, no direction and an ugly drug addiction that was all consuming. To have created a life from what statistically leads to death or institutions I was able to recover and stay sober now for 13 years. In the past 13 years, I have learned to love myself, built a successful business and am now working on the second, published 3 books, have traveled the world. I have created a healthy family life and am now living my purpose which is to inspire other Women to love themselves. I would say that my biggest success to date has been understanding my worth and choosing to live on the other side of fear.

My Most Challenging Moment?

When I was 19 years old I was a single mom to a 1-year-old little boy. We were in a horrific car accident that left him in a coma and on life support.  Lost and alone I was able to find the strength to fight for him.  I had to make many choices that altered our lives for good. Today, my 19-year-old son is alive and against all odds he walks, talks and has a spirit that touches everyone he comes into contact with. He is my greatest teacher.

My Motto?

Your story could be the key that unlocks someone else's prison. Don't be afraid to share it.

My Favorite People/Role Models?

Louise Hay ~ Very first Author I read that lead me to sobriety.

Dr. Wayne Dyer ~ He started my journey of creating the life I desired.

Brene Brown ~ taught me not to be ashamed of my story.  When I became a successful business owner and involved myself with philanthropy I hide who I was. Nobody knew about my past. I created a new life and identity. Maybe one I always had wished for but I suffered. I am forever grateful to Brene Brown for helping me through this.

Diane Von Furstenberg ~ Everything about her inspires me. I could read her biography over and over just to be inspired.

And this might sound a bit out there But Lisa Hochstein … She is out killing it, owning her life and enjoying every moment without getting caught up in everyone else's judgements about her. She owns her s*** and is not afraid to be who she is.

My Favorite Places/Destinations?

I tend to fall in Love with every place I visit and think .. I want to live here! But the love I have for France is a little different. From the moment I landed for the first time, I felt like I had arrived home. My soul was content and though I do not speak french the language and its accent seemed to flow easily.  One of my goals now is to one day spend a year exploring the Country and resting in its culture.

My Favorite Products/Objects?

I am obsessed with skincare products and I absolutely love to visit the Spa.  I could travel the world doing a spa tour … (I may need to plan that) . I am noticing many high-end Spas now have their own signature lines and I like to try them all. One skin care line that I do go back to over and over is Rodan & Fields.  Also like most Women, I am obsessed with shoes or purses.

10. My Current Passions?

Balancing Mommyhood, wellness, business, and travel. Living my truth in a way that inspires.  There is so much I want to do but finding the space between the hustle is what I am really passionate about right now. Slowing down enough to accomplish more. We are wired or maybe society has wired us to do more, consume more, have more. It led me to exhaustion, So rewiring my brain to have room for what is important, connection.
