Erika Epstein is a E-RYT 200 yoga teacher and is currently studying to complete her 300 hour training. While living in Colorado in 2011, Erika developed her love for yoga, where she found it was the perfect balance to her active lifestyle. Erika looks to help others find the flexibility, happiness and mental stillness that yoga gives to her. She also hopes students will use yoga as a vehicle to have fun, reduce stress and develop a healthy lifestyle on and off the mat. Erika's classes incorporate an eclectic playlist and creative vinyasa sequences that build heat, balance and strength. In 2015, Erika completed her 200 hour training at Yoga Vida in New York City and studies under her teacher, Kat Fowler.
What do I do best?
I try to treat others the same way I’d like to be treated. You never know what someone is going through, so even offering someone a simple smile, can change their entire day.
What makes me the best version of myself?
Taking time for myself definitely makes me the best version of myself. Whether it’s getting a facial, meditating or surrounding myself with positive people, it has definitely taken time to learn what serves me.
What are my aspirations?
Personal: I’m super excited to start a family with my fiancé. I have 4 nephews who I can’t get enough of, so I can’t wait till I have my own one day!
Business: Eventually, I would love to lead my own retreat either somewhere out west or somewhere in the Caribbean or Mexico. I’ve also thought about opening up my own yoga studio one day.
My Biggest Success?
Becoming a yoga teacher is one of my greatest accomplishments because I never thought I would ever become one. I’m proud that I was able to get over my fear of public speaking and really find my passion in life.
My Most Challenging Moment?
I had just moved to Philadelphia from NYC when I tore my ACL. I took 6 weeks off from teaching, I had to find my place in a new city and rehabilitate my knee. Through intense physical therapy & a positive attitude, I came back stronger than ever.

My Favorite People/Role Models?
My Favorite Places/Destinations?
My favorite places I’ve traveled to recently are Aspen, Colorado and Bali. I travel to Aspen regularly, lived there after college for a bit & am getting married there in July 2018. Bali was a magical place with some of the kindest locals I’ve ever met. I live to travel, so I’m constantly thinking about the next place I want to cross off my bucket list.
My Favorite Products/Objects?
I’m a product junkie! I’m obsessed with skincare & have recently been very into Drunk Elephant and Tata Harper’s products.
My Current Passions?
I’m passionate about nourishing my mind & body, self-care, & spending time with my loved ones. All of this really grounds me & makes me feel happy.
