Hi there! I’m Hailey Miller, and I’m so glad you’re here. My #1 goal in creating this site, is arming you with the tools you need to have, do and be everything you’ve ever dreamed of. If you want to jump right into that, head on over to my Services page. I’m a NYC based Health Coach and Wellness Expert, Speaker, Marketing Consultant who’s filled with extreme amounts of passion for making the world a healthier happier place through inspiring change from the inside out. I’m proud to be featured on The Everygirl, The Huffington Post, Metro New York, and to have spoken (and sang!) at Live at Jazz at Lincoln Center in front of 1,000+ other Health Coaches helping guide them along their journey. I love all things health, wellness, and fitness. I believe that eating real food can and will change your life and that you have the power to take control of your happiness. I’m obsessed with the amazing relationships in my life and believe there’s nothing more important than the people you surround yourself with.
What do I do best?
Well, I don’t know if I do anything ‘better’ than anyone else, but I live my life in my own way. That’s what it’s all about right - sharing our skills and gifts with the world in a way that no one else can?
I’m a people person. I love talking with people, and understanding who they are and where they come from. I think that before we can effectively communicate, which is the basis for all successful relationships, we have to truly understand what makes someone tick, what lights them up, what they’re passionate about, and who they really are, deep down.
What makes me the best version of myself?
I’m compassionate, and I believe the kindness will take you the extra mile. Yes, you have to stand up for yourself and understand where to be assertive, but compassion has allowed me to gain a deeper understanding of why people do what they do. I’m very sensitive, which is a blessing and a curse. In the sense of a blessing, I it think allows me to see things beyond how they may appear, judge less, and share more love. I think this helps me personally and professionally.
What are my aspirations?
Personally, to cultivate meaningful and long lasting relationships - whether it’s with co-workers, friends, family, and creating a new family. People are what make the world go round and without the solid relationships in my life, I wouldn’t be who I am.
Professionally, to constantly keep learning new things and skills. I want to grow and evolve into new roles and become an expert in many things. I also want to learn how to be a good leader and share with people what I’ve learned along the way. No one enters in a career knowing everything, and when someone teaches you effectively, it can go along way.
My Biggest Success?
Going after what I want. I don’t always get it, but I’ll always try. That and being able to speak on stage at Jazz at Lincoln Center...that was pretty awesome.
My Most Challenging Moment?
Leaving a full time job that was relatively comfortable because I knew it was no longer the right fit. I knew that there was something else I should be doing, something that would reignite my creativity, fire, and passion, but staying would have been a lot easier. After I left I traveled alone for 5 weeks to Bali & Australia. I made new amazing friends, got opportunities I wouldn’t have imagined, and consider myself a darn good yogi.
I don’t know if I can choose just one:
As you start to walk out on the way, the way appears. - Rumi
Everything happens for a reason if we let it, and just when we think we can’t hang on anymore we’re placed in the right direction. Challenges are opportunities to become stronger, to learn something new, and to grow.
A few others:
Wouldn’t life be boring if we were all the same?
The wound is where the light enters
My Favorite People/Role Models?
Again, so hard - there are so many.
My mom, my dad, my brothers, and my best friends.
Role model: Jessica Alba, she’s created an incredibly successful business and hasn’t sacrificed an ounce of integrity. Always wish I could have met Princess Diana, heart of gold.
Jamie Oliver - his TedTalk about school lunches inspired me to become more interested in how we feed ourselves and the effects it has on our mind, body, and soul. He’s amazing.
My Favorite Places/Destinations?
Capri; Sydney; Victoria, British Columbia; Paris
All for different reasons. I love being surrounded by people I feel comfortable with and who I know love me, but I love a good vacation with a mix of adventure and relaxation.
My Favorite Products/Objects?
I love mychelle skincare, it’s all organic and natural. It’s tough to find that in our country. I also love Glossier products.
Food: Beanitos! Have you had these chips? They’re insane. Theo’s chocolate, Califia Farms almond milk, avocados.
Clothing: my lululemons, mizunos for running, and nikes for athleisure, and Current Elliot Jeans
A good notebook for jotting down ideas.
My Current Passions?
I have a lot of passions...cooking, running, yoga, TedTalks, helping people, being with my friends. Red wine, yes that deserves it’s own category ;-)
