What do I do best?
When people feel a lack of fulfillment in their life and work, I help guide them through the process. I’m an Inner Wildness Guide, which means that I can see who they are on the inside, and what is blocking them from their full potential. I’ve always had the ability to make people feel safe and comfortable, so they can open up. By listening deeply, I have the ability to intuit what’s missing from their lives and help them find ways to replenishes that part of themselves.
What makes me the best version of myself?
The most important characteristic has been my sharp ability to focus. That, and my relentless determination.
What are my aspirations?
It’s essential to me to live a life of deep meaning and purpose. I’m here to be of service. Years of following my interests led me to work with world renowned thought leaders. Now it’s my turn to give back and offer the culmination of my learning.
My Biggest Success?
My greatest success to date has been writing a book, and having it published. There were many challenges, as I was going against the grain of what’s expected of me in by my community. Ultimately, the process helped me make better sense of my life.
My Most Challenging Moment?
I grew up in a family and community of highly productive and successful business people, where being a full-time creative was not the norm. Inspired to write a book about my life, I had to stumble in the dark and find my own way. With a lot of grit and determination, I carved out 2.5 years to write my memoir –all the while saying no to nearly everyone and everything else that pulled for my attention. The process was isolating and lonely. Yet something inside of me knew I had to do it. Looking back, it’s clear that my journey was highly transformative and led me to fulfillment of my highest self.
All is good until it’s out of balance.
My Favorite People/Role Models?
Clarissa Pinkola Estes, author of Women Who Run with the Wolves
My Favorite Places/Destinations?
My favorite places and destinations: anywhere where there is an abundance of wild animals and wilderness.
My Favorite Products/Objects?
I use products that are natural and have integrity to the environment.
My Current Passions?
My current passion is dancing to the beat of live African drums. I took a class that used the West African djembe drum. Now I find that I crave it. When I dance to the drum it awakens something ancient inside of me. My body comes alive and I move in ways that I never dreamed possible.
