What do you love most about Your City?

There are many things that appeal to me about Los Angeles and Southern California. This is a city rich in diversity, industry and culture. Growing up here I have seen one trend after another take shape and migrate throughout the rest of the country and beyond. The city is a true incubator of new ideas, products and services, which underscores the entrepreneurial spirit that has been a big part of Los Angeles for decades. Many people associate this city with the entertainment and automotive industry, but it goes way beyond that. Los Angeles is leading the way in aerospace, manufacturing, tourism, bioscience, transportation, fashion, technology and creative and media arts.

Favorite breakfast meal & restaurant?

I don’t have a favorite breakfast, however, with almost 9,000 restaurants to choose from finding a great meal doesn’t take much looking. That said, I’m a big fan of In-N-Out Burger.

What are you doing at:

6:00 AM – On the way to work. With clients in Europe and Asia, my work schedule starts very early.

10:00 AM - On the phone with clients, brainstorming in creative meetings or developing brand strategies for any number of our clients.

12:00 PM - Favorite Power Lunch spot/meal?

Our office is located in the neighborhood of Sawtelle Japantown (formerly known as Little Osaka), which is a very cool area in West Los Angeles. This is an historic area and home to a sizable Japanese American population. Within 3 blocks of our office are a myriad of Asian and culturally themed restaurants and shops. There is never a lack of great food within a few feet from our front door.

7:00 PM -  I spend my early evenings at a training facility boxing. I am into my 4th year of training and this is something I really look forward to after a 12 or 13 hour day.

11:00 PM - Fast asleep (hopefully).

What drink do you need to get through the day and at the end (and how many)?

Strong, tasty coffee during the day and an occasional glass of wine in the evening. Sometimes even a stiff martini depending how the day or week went.

Most used App/Favorite Instagram Account?

I use a variety of apps but do not have a favorite one.

What should everyone try at least once?

Speaking in front of a large crowd. It can be an amazing and powerful experience. I had a public speaking class in college and it absolutely influenced the way I prepare for meetings and how I manage other people’s expectations.

Where do you enjoy getting lost?

In a good book.
