What do you love most about Your City?
I love the iconic New York skyline at dusk and our lush 840 acre Central Park.
Favorite breakfast meal & restaurant?
My favorite breakfast is a toasted sesame seed bagel with butter and my favorite restaurant is Stissing House in Pine Plains, New York.
What are you doing at:
6:00 AM - I start my day with a skim latte in the garden at my townhouse (weather permitting) with my husband, Jeffrey Baker, and our two Australian Shepherds, Storm and Shadow. I read the numerous emails that have come in overnight, The New York Times, The New York Post and The Wall Street Journal (I still love reading newspapers). Then, I start my calls to my overseas clients.
8:00 AM - I will be working out with Tommy, my trainer, at Equinox 85th Street. He is amazing!
10:00 AM - I am well into showing apartments and townhouses throughout Manhattan.
12:00 PM - Favorite Power Lunch or Spot/meal?
If I have the time, I enjoy lunch at The Mark. My favorite meal is the chilled artichoke followed by the salmon with ginger dressing. Most days I don’t have time for a sit down lunch. Usually my colleagues and fabulous team members Alexis Bodenheimer, Marion Smith and Sadie Rutman, grab soup and kale chips from the Juice Press.
7:00 PM - My team and I are hopefully wrapping up the day; following up with our clients via emails and telephone calls, giving them updates on their properties or searches.
11:00 PM - I’ll be catching up on my favorite shows which I’ve recorded. Currently, Sharp Objects and Ozark. It’s a nice way to gear down and relax after a very busy day.
What drink do you need to get through the day and at the end (and how many)?
My team and I are hydrating all day long, drinking lots of water and herbal ice tea. At the end of the day, if I’m home with my husband – and if I’m really lucky and have one or more of my three sons, Otto, Alex, and William, with us, I sip on one of my two current favorite drinks, Hillrock Solera Aged Bourbon on ice or Hillrock Port-Finished Double Cask Rye on ice. My husband and I created Hillrock Estate Distillery, which is located in New York’s Hudson Valley, so we always have a wonderful selection of Hillrock spirits to choose from for every occasion.
Most used App/Favorite Instagram Account?
I love Instagram and Facebook, it is so much fun to reconnect with long lost friends and always keep up with family and friends. Of course, my favorite account is @hillrockestatedistillery
What should everyone try at least once?
You must try Rotisserie Georgette’s Poule de Luxe and Chef Eliza Glaister’s Sticky Toffee Pudding topped with Hillrock Solera Bourbon.
Where do you enjoy getting lost?
I love getting lost in the Stag’s Leap Winery in Napa, California – especially in the caves.
