Colin Rhoades is a Southeast Student EMMY nominated writer, composer, comedian, and creator. He is a Chicago native currently living in Savannah, Georgia. He writes comedy TV, stage plays, the occasional musical here and there, wacky and whimsical feature films, and commercial music. You could say he is a Renaissance Man.

Most recently nominated for a Southeast Student EMMY in Writing on the Musical TV Pilot, Neighbors: an Episodic Musical, which he wrote, created, composed the music/lyrics for, and was Showrunner, Colin also has an animated musical short film, Bearly, that was just featured in an Animation World Network (AWN) article which praised his work writing the story, music, and lyrics. The film is being submitted to the Student Academy Awards next season. Colin loves comedy, he loves music, and most of all he loves you. Wait. No, sorry. Never mind.

Most common Quarantine Activity:

Noticing my cat is following me around my kitchen as I pace in figure 8’s trying to make a simple decision.

Favorite Quarantine show/movie:

New Girl is a constant. Was utterly thrilled by What We Do in the Shadows, Dave, The Boys, and the Animaniacs Reboot. As well as enthralled by The Mandalorian and all things Star Wars.

Favorite Instagram accounts:

Favorite quarantine meal & drink:

Lemon Butter Pasta with Zuchinni and Tomatoes. My girl friend and I thought we’d play chef while quarantined. A recipe has structure. A recipe has RULES. A recipe can’t get fucked up by a mask-less dick! Well... it could. Aaaaaand Diet Coke cause I have an addiction!

Most Questionable thing you’ve seen or heard recently:

That “normal” people don’t talk to themselves 24/7. Me and myself, we have great conversations.

First thing you’ll do once isolation is over...

Laugh back and forth directly into people’s mouths. Gotta make up for lost time.
