Jackie Loeb: Comedian, Actor & Writer

Bio:

Jackie Loeb is an actor, comic, singer, writer, voice talent and world-renowned sugar and carb addict. As seen on Superstore, Better Things, a recent Instagram commercial for personalized socks and can currently be heard on the animated Netflix series Trash Truck where she voices the role of Ms. Mona. (A worldly and wise rat.) She recently played the role of Lady Omega on the Amazon Prime science fiction masterpiece Greatland.

Jackie graduated from the University of Western Sydney with a useful- adjacent degree in Performing Arts. She has worked as a stand-up comic and vocalist her entire adult life and was the recipient of the Australian Mo Award for Best Live Comedy Act. Jackie has been based in beautiful Los Angeles for almost a decade and has performed at the Aspen Comedy Festival, Hollywood Fringe Festival, Dinah Shore, Burbank Comedy Festival, Women’s Week and headlined at comedy clubs across Los Angeles.

Jackie wears many hats. She’s a producer, composer and provides substandard catering on her own projects. When not working, Jackie can be seen loitering at Ralphs waiting for the BBQ chickens to go on sale.

Most common Quarantine activity:

A weekly excursion to the 99 cent store. Perusing the aisles for things that will end up as future landfill. 

Favorite quarantine show/movies:

The only show. The Golden Girls.

Pasta, pasta sauce and cheese. The less nutritional value the better. 

Drink: Ginger Kombucha because I just want to fit into LA culture. 

Most questionable thing you’ve seen or heard recently:

Every second post on facebook. Including my own! I am not 17.  

First thing you do when isolation is over...

Well, I am very blessed that I have been able to return to Sydney for a while. 

The first thing I did was go sit in a Japanese restaurant and order everything with the word 'Tempura' in it.
