Fitness expert and celebrity trainer, Lauren Kleban is the creator of LEKfit, a dance-inspired fitness method designed to create long and lean muscles by using intervals of low impact, high intensity, fat burning cardio with muscle sculpting techniques created to strengthen and tone. LEKfit takes a musically driven approach to fitness with Lauren consistently drawing inspiration from her ballet, jazz, burlesque, and yoga training to create fun and effective workouts that empower and promote body love and acceptance. LEKfit has developed a cult following of devotees, both in the LA studio and LEKfit on demand online, that come for Lauren’s unique approach to dance-inspired fitness.
How did you get into the industry?
Working in fitness has happened as a natural transition from being a professional dancer and dance instructor.

The biggest industry trend is that absolutely everything moving into the digital space.
Any industry opportunities or challenges?
Part of being a tech brand is keeping up with the rapid and vast digital changes which I think is both a challenge and opportunity!
Inspiration for the business idea, and your vision for the Business?
LEKfit has been created as a less time consuming and more efficient workout in a space that promotes body love and acceptance.
What's next for the Business in the near future?
We will be opening our first LA flagship studio hopefully in late fall of this year!
Your most difficult moment at the Business? (and what did you learn?)
Accepting that you can’t be everything to everyone, and really honing in on what our niche is.
Ideal experience for a customer/client?
Our clients most appreciate and benefit from our philosophy of listening to your body and being kind to your body. They most benefit from our efficient and effective workouts, and i think they appreciate our inclusive and non-intimidating supportive vibe. Both in the studio and online. Who doesn’t love finishing a workout covered in sweat?
