Louie holds six prestigious Clio awards and is a member of the Art Director’s Club of New York. He has won virtually every creative award there is.
How did you get into the Advertising industry?
I went right from Pittsburgh to NYC- portfolio in hand. First job was junior art director at Bozell & Jacobs.
Tell us about Moses Inc. What inspired the idea and what is your vision for the company?
The vision remains the same after 33 years and that is to create an environment where ideas can flourish and creative collaboration is essential.
What strategic partnerships/marketing strategies have you implemented that have attributed to Moses Inc’s success?
Finding the right people comes first. The work is only as good as the people creating it. We find talented, motivated, smart people.
What industry trends are you noticing and how do you capitalize on them?
Trends are like junk food. They look so inviting and you feel empty after indulging. We look for “human truths” and sometimes they manifest themselves as current trends. But the trend shouldn’t drive the idea.
Your greatest success as Founder/CEO of Moses Inc? Most difficult moment-how did you overcome and what did you learn?
Greatest success: Keeping the creative culture alive for 33 years.
Difficult moment: Losing an account after 21 years. I learned how quickly time flies.
Your advice to an aspiring entrepreneur?
Be kind. People may not be kind back. Be kind anyway.

How do you motivate your employees?
I’ve created an environment in which great work can happen. Self-motivation is up to them.
